Do you know what a Spinosaurus is? No? But you do know what a T. Rex is, that's for sure. Imagine a much bigger and mysterious dinosaur! Get ready to learn more about it!

-------
-The largest carnivorous dinosaur of all
I told you this in advance in the intro, but… why? Let me tell you! This is the largest carnivorous dinosaur so far.

-It never ran into a T. Rex
You surely wonder what relationship these two giants have.

-Half duck, half crocodile
How is this possible? According to National Geographic, this huge predator may have had webbed feet for walking on soft mud or paddling.

-Bombed and perfectly recreated
The first fossils of this big dinosaur were discovered in Egypt by German paleontologist Ernst Stromer.

-What were its spines for?
This enigmatic reptile brings more questions than answers with its fossil bones.

-It feeds like a pelican
The fossilized upper jaw of a Spinosaurus found in Morocco has been studied by researchers from Nova University Lisbon and show that this great carnivore fed mainly on fish.

-Is it bipedal or quadrupedal?
Perhaps in the Jurassic Park franchise, you saw this dinosaur as a land colossus and a ferocious monster capable of facing the largest predators of the Cretaceous period.

There were so many things the film Jurassic Park got wrong, and this led people to believe certain things about dinosaurs.
Classic thing was the dinosaurs used mainly came from the Cretaceous period and the Velociraptor was only about 2 foot tall and not the height of an adult human.

also another fact: spinosaurus had a paddle like tail which means it definitely had a semi aquatic life style spending most of its time in or around water but it did come on land to lay eggs or move to another river

even if the spino was crossed in the same time era as trex. trex would probably win a majority aka 90 to 95% of its fights as spino focused evolving to hunt fish and very small prey. trex hunted medium, small, large prey in its era and it dedicated to kill animals either bigger or smaller preys.

Yup the actual Spinosaurus was quadrepedal because when Ernst Stromer discovered it, he noticed that its hind legs were quite short which is just as long as its forelimbs so how can even the Spinosaurus in JP3 managed not to fall over even if its bipedal? Well, its nonsense

Side fact spinosaurus was not the largest carnivorous dinosaur, it was the most visually large dinosaur being taller and longer than tyrannosaurus, but the tyrannosaurus weighed a lot more and could definitely kill a spino out of water if they met

Looks like one of the Spinosaurus Are more taller than the other which probably indicates that It’s more like used for land combat but the other spinosaurus looks like It’s more likely used for Aquatic battle.

What how the hell did you still use the quadrupedal form of spino even a month after the tail and centre of gravity were discovered

1. scientists still are not sure what the spines were used for
2. our understanding about it changes so much that the currently accurate design could be different
3. the spino likely wasnt as good a swimmer as previously thought, its legs were short, and it likely hunted like a modern day stork or heron
4. this animal was not the largest carnivorous dinosaur, that title belongs to the 9-10 ton tyrannosaurus, the spino was the longest carnivorous dinosaur
5. like i said, it fed more like a heron or stork
6. the spino was bipedal
7. no fucking shit

Back in the early 1990S I didn’t like Spinosaurus because it was like a Sailbacked Allosaurus. But as the years the years passed, “Never mind most of the Dinosaur books in the mid & late 1990S I overlooked that showed it’s true colors & true nature.” I saw a sudden change. When I saw the movie poster of Jurassic Park 3, I said this. “It looks like a Baryonyx, but it’s got long spines on its back. Is that Spinosaurus? It looks… different.” At that time I was surprised to see that Spinosaurus wasn’t an Allosaur at all, it was something else. A Sailbacked version of Baryonyx, but BIGGER… much BIGGER. Then I saw a few other species like them, Suchomimus & Irritator. I was like this as well. “So it appears that Spinosaurus has showed us its true colors & nature as a Dinosaur equivalent of a Crocodile. I like Crocodiles, “The True Crocodiles” as much as I like Dinosaurs. Some different species AKA types of Dinosaurs anyway.
