My advice if moving to spain would be to purchase a static caravan on a medium size site, with a static you literally have your yearly ground fee and elec and water, thats it! No local suma (council tax) dont require a spanish bank account, and the site im on here caravans are actually going up in value if maintained well! Property in spain has many uncertainties, if your not careful you can be done over. I have a static in el campello near alicante and one in the uk, best thing i ever did!
As for requiring a visa to get into spain it just goes to show how soft the uk government is allowing endless immigrants into the country with no documents whatsoever, with spain you meet their requirements or that's it, you aint entering!

Very helpful, I'm seriously considering a permanent move to rural Spain as the UK is on its knees and is not going to stand up anytime soon (if ever)

I spend holidays in Nerja, what a stunning place, I can understand Brits moving to Spain, the warm evenings in Nerja and all locals sat outside, talking drinking eating, fires on beach cooking fish etc, 😂😂❤❤❤

A'reyt Lucy. I keep saying to my girlfriend that before she checks out houses, she should get her Irish passport. I will get her to watch this. Good timing and thank you.

The Non Lucrative and Digital Nomad visas have to be renewed after 1yr with all the eligibility hoops to get through again. The Digital Nomad Visa can only be renewed once so max 2yrs in Spain. Not easy now we are like any third country to get visas to live in any country in the Schengen zone.

Makes you wonder how the hundreds if not thousands of British workers in bars/restaurants out there are working there and if they’ll be any left in 10/15 years, presumably they’re people that were living in Spain pre brexit and have got indefinite leave to remain like I’m assuming Lucy has.
