I'm grateful for your channel. I am trying to get my residence permit as a NON-EU family member of an EU partner. We have the (Pareja DeH hecho) signed already. I made a mistake in my first submission buy clicking (permanent residence) application and I got rejected on the premise that I haven't lived for 5years in Spain. I already resubmitted with the right option now (Temporary residence).

MY QUESTION is: there is an option to appeal the first rejection. Is it advisable to go through the appeal process? or just wait till my new resubmission is assessed?

When you see these programs on TV like A place in the sun.... it looks so easy to live in Spain... so this was a real eye opener! The only place I have seen (that looks a nice place to live) so far that has easier rules to live there is Thailand.

Hello, my wife and i are moving to Spain and we are looking to understand how we can get our house contents moved over (which should be for free) without a hitch. We have boxed everything up (that will go in a box) and will be hiring a Luton van to to transport/drive it all in person through the tunnel and down through France into Spain. Cannot find out what documents i need or who to see about getting this done as i have been given several different suggestions and don't want to get it wrong. My situation is a unique combination of factors. I have a Mexican and an American passport. I work for an American company that has an entity in Spain. To transfer they’ll have to hire me through their Spanish entity. Does that mean they would be sponsoring me? What kind of visa would that be if I already work for them? Also, I’ve read that as a Mexican citizen (or any former Spanish colony), there’s an expedited two year track for getting Spanish citizenship. Do you know anything about that?
