People seem to also forget about the two other flights that crashed which one flew into the pentagon, and the other crashed in a field in Pennsylvania killing everyone on board

My dad was actually in the north tower when it got hit first but thankfully he made it out safety because he was a few floors below the floor that got hit

Those buildings were massive as fuck, if they put there original foot prints on the wtc grounds it would mostly take up the whole space and wouldn’t have space to build the wtc 1 building, that’s how big the original 1, 2 buildings were

I’m from the Bronx, my grandfather was a glazier and in 1980 he had to get up on scaffolding and wash windows on the higher floors. The thing is the scaffolding swings with the strong wind.

Many people don't mention this when talking about the WTC, but I'll say, I really like the looks and architecture of the original twin towers. They looked extremely monolithic and impressive, very reminiscent of Brutalism, yet up close their metal bands gave them a striking avant-garde appearance. Much better than modern glass mush skyscrapers if I say so myself, and definitely much better than the new ''freedom tower.''

Such a shame, they really were beautiful testaments of architecture, a staple of the city.
