When I upgraded to Widows 10 the EZGrabber did not work. I just followed the instructions exactly as given on the video after I had already installed EZGrabber. Once I followed the instructions, it worked perfectly. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

I worked all day trying to get the EZgrabber to work to no avail.. Then I watched your YouTube and took your suggestion.
I wish I had written down exactly what I did; but, it works !!! on Windows 10. I went to the device manager and the OTGIO2 was there. I selected reinstall, rebooted my computer and it works. Thanks ! you're fantastic !

This thing is priceless to me. I bought one a couple years back and I recently used it to transfer Hi8 tapes into my computer.. it did a wonderful job. It is a tiny device but does an incredible job.

Windows 10 fails to recognise the VC500 USB input, however you are correct in disabling the OTG102 and MicroSoft IR Receiver after inserting the USB as these are automatically added by Windows without prompt. I also downloaded latest software from Diamond website. Then rebooted PC, installed software and even Power Director 12 then worked fine. Any issues with 'Copyright Protected Media' are in fact due to poor VHS footage. If this occurs just stop VHS, save what you have, restart VHS and then restart recording with Power Director. I found black screens but this was due to settings (bottom RHS of Capture screen) which need to be tweaked in the Analogue Video box eg PAL/NTSC, choose Conexant Video Card in Video Setup Capture Device, etc. Just play around with selections.

I have the old VC-211A, and I'm going to try and install the VC500 driver. When I originally got it, I think it was plug-and play. I still have the original driver for it on an older drive with Windows XP so I might try to retrieve it from there, since it doesn't really have a brand name like Diamond or whatever.

I originally used it as a frame grabber for a Sony High* camcorder... and was going to try plugging in an old 70's Pioneer stereo to it so I can upload my vinyl records.

Ok, I give up. Windows 10 keeps on installing it as a "USB Composite Device" no matter how many times and ways I do it. I have installed the Windows 10 drivers before, during, and after plugging the unit in. The OTG102 shows up in my Other Devices list, but no matter what I can't get it to work.

This did not work for me. My computer doesn’t show what you’re seeing in the device manager. Can’t even open ez grabber so I uninstalled it. 😤

I appreciate the video BUT I have black screen and DID NOT have the usb driver you described to disable.

Didn't work. My computer doesn't have that ehome infrared transceiver so I couldn't disable that. My VC500 installed flawlessly on my computer that has the store bought version of Windows 10, but my laptop has that free version of Windows 10 that I downloaded and installed over my Windows 7. It won't install the driver on that free version of Win 10. no matter what I do that OTG102 device in device manager always has a yellow !. Thing is every time I try to install it, says it's incompatible with the platform. I tried installing with with troubleshooting and compatibility settings but to no avail.
