Hi Steve, I’m trying to use this software to transfer video from a Toshiba tv/vcr combo player. However, when I try to plug the device and play tape into the tv, I am not getting a signal. I’m wondering if I’m doing something wrong.

Hello Steve, i realize this is a older video, i am still currently using Powerdirector 13. My computer has a firewire post that won't recognize my hi 8 vtr player. I am thinking about going this route with the daimond vc500, my question is will the vc500 work with Powerdirector 13? Or do you recommend another external capture device besides this one? Also i purchased your Powerdirector 13 book not too long ago! Thank you for any help with this, i appreciate it.
