I believe it’s all about the decisions we make and the commitments we uphold with ourselves. After 13 years of heavy smoking, I managed to quit in just 4 days last October. Unfortunately, as the months passed, my motivation began to fade, and I slipped back into my old habit for a month. But now, after two weeks of renewed determination, I remember that I can do much better and elevate myself to a higher level.

I think your perception is reality here it's like withdrawals from weed. If you are confident you can sleep without smoking you can, but children are easily convinced of insomnia related to smoking weed. Alcohol, really only 72 hours but if you taper it'll be longer. I usually feel extremely motivated by day 4 so I think this is silly. I don't think people are so weak everything in the world dictates their output quality. Free will is an illusion.
