All of these require the phone to be powered on. Or the adb trick requires one to turn that on prior to the power button crapping out. I may be wrong but i think the majority of people watching this vid cant turn their phone on due to the power button crapping out and prob didnt think they need to find a trap door for if their power button decides to stop working and the phone is off or battery runs down.

If you own a Samsung galaxy press both top and bottom volume buttons for 10 secs then plug in the charger for 5 secs while still holding the volume buttons.Then unplug the charger and leave the volume button at the same time.OS installation will pop up, cancel it with the bottom volume button and your phone will start.
Edit:It mostly works with recent sumsung Galaxys.

In order to use ADB usb debugging needs to be enabled right? My samsung android phone is switched off and long pressing volume up and down button simultaneously while connecting to a laptop isnt doing the trick. any suggestions people

i would like to thank you for 4:03 been searching for a technician to fix my power button and it costs $15 (800 Php). I could have bought a new one since my phone is 5 years old, but i even rarely use it and just use it for making and accepting calls

sadly it won't work, as starting to charge only puts it into a seperate charging instance (without the ability to connect to a pc), where you'd need to hold the power button to rly turn it on. But thanks anyway
