Labour are banking on those who qualify for pension credits, not applying for the credits, as it would cost over £3 billion, far more than the current winter fuel allowance cost.

When you think that the Tax Burden on people and companies is at a SEVENTY YEAR HIGH, we are entitled to ask - how much more do you want, Labour ? They won't be happy till the rich have left and everyone is a student, foreigner or works in the public sector. UK will look, fell and SOUND rather different in 5 years. In Germany they're going to do this: skilled foreign workers who come here to work will pay 30% less tax in their 1st year, 20 % less in their 2nd year and 10 % less in their 3rd year. We pay full taxes and they are being raised!!!!
