Prime Minister vows ‘things will get worse’

Riots in the wake of the Southport stabbings, an overcrowding crisis in our prisons and crumbling public services.

Standing in Downing Street's Rose Garden today, the Prime Minister spoke of the very thorny challenges facing his government.

And he warned he would have to make big asks of the country to clean up the mess he says he inherited from the Conservatives.
