🎮 What's this game? The Devs Wrote "
HELLDIVERS™ 2 is a 3rd person squad-based shooter that sees the elite forces of the Helldivers battling to win an intergalactic struggle to rid the galaxy of the rising alien threats. From a 3rd person perspective, players use a variety of weapons (pistols, machine guns, flamethrowers) and stratagems (turrets, airstrikes, etc.) to shoot and kill the alien threats. Players can also aim down the sights for a more accurate 1st person camera view. Combat is accompanied by frequent sprays of blood and dismemberment as players exterminate the alien forces or players and squad mates are hit by environmental explosions or friendly fire. Enemy encampments and battlefield environments depict bloodstains and dismembered corpses.

The reason I said 'Left for the Terminid and right for the Automatons' is because I saw the image yesterday, just like everyone else did. Then, the next day, I wrote the script out. My memory is not that great I guess, and I didn't go back to look at it again.

We definitely need the weaponry to have more power. Especially with all the new enemies coming. ARs need more ammo, mechs need shorter cooldowns and more uses, light AP weapons need some upgrade to be more popular (perhaps the ability to upgrade them with AP ammo like in HD1)

I think the simplest and fairest change to being capped out on samples, requisition slips and medals is to have them simply convert to bonus XP automatically. It doesn’t have to be anything crazy maybe like 10 extra per item or something. That would atleast give you more incentive to go after these

I really want the automaton spaceship to provide them occasional fire support, maybe as a mission modifier. Or we could see them get destroyed and drop weapons, samples and other stuff to the surface.

Also, there’s a lot of blue dust on the top of the cover art. Could be illuminate magic, or my copium overdose kicking in

All of these "weapon" glitches on fabricators make me wonder if the issue isn't with the weapons (yes, I am including the commando here) - but more the fabricators themselves? Maybe the devs need to have a look into the fabricators design before "fixing" weapons

B Vitamin made a post clarifying that there will be a brand new sample type, exclusive to these new outposts, which themselves will be exclusive to difficulty level 10.

I’ve always shot the angled metal above the exhaust pipes for the fabricators with a autocannon and it angles it in, so you never have to be close

I wish they'd add some kind of scanner alert that'd tell you what the most prominent enemy type was going to be before you dropped. Like, if the mission is going to favor spawning tons of hunters, I'm going to bring different weapons than if the game was going to favor bile spewers. They're already partially there by telling you when a mission is going to have more aerial enemies roaming about.

What I am hoping is for AT LEAST small buffs to all weapons. If our enemies are getting upgrades and stronger… WE SHOULD TOO!

why do people still ask shams for game related answers?? He has nothing to do with the game. He might be CEO but he's only dealing with the business side of the game, while pilestedt (the previous CEO) still owns arrowhead and is the guy to ask questions bec he directs the game's balancing now.

We're definitely going to get new weapons and buffs for difficulty 10 I wouldn't worry about it. If we don't, difficulty 10 is going to be by design close to impossible so if it plays that way it shouldn't be a surprise.

I noticed that for the bugs, the shriekers look... different. The wings are a bit long, similar to a certain leaked enemy.

That first comment was right. The trigger happy definitely are a hindrance, the frenemies that they are.
