"HELLDIVERS™ 2 is a 3rd person squad-based shooter that sees the elite forces of the Helldivers battling to win an intergalactic struggle to rid the galaxy of the rising alien threats. From a 3rd person perspective, players use a variety of weapons (pistols, machine guns, flamethrowers) and stratagems (turrets, airstrikes, etc.) to shoot and kill the alien threats. Players can also aim down the sights for a more accurate 1st person camera view. Combat is accompanied by frequent sprays of blood and dismemberment as players exterminate the alien forces or players and squad mates are hit by environmental explosions or friendly fire. Enemy encampments and battlefield environments depict bloodstains and dismembered corpses."

the 13% buff from saluting the flag is also applied to the ICBM missile when its raising. salute the nuke!

Im thinking maybe it would be better to have the full shop on display and keep it at full price.

But keep the rotating shop as a discount rack. That way, there is no fomo, but if people still choose to wait for the armors they can benefit from it

About the voteless turning into overseers: i think they're more likely to turn into the big mutant illuminate (remember that it was called ghoul or smth) leaked some time ago. Mostly because the overseers have the second pair of arms hidden in the armor so its unlikely to mutate a voteless into growing those arms just to hide it into their armor. while the ghoul has a second pair of arms more in line with a human mutating into one of the squids, while also lacking armor and having big shoulders similar to the voteless

A great ship upgrade would simply be a 5th stratagem slot.

I also wish there was an option for your armors to be categorized by their armor passives instead of strictly being categorized by light, medium, and heavy.

A Resistance crossover would be dope. The human rifle would be a fun Adjudicator variant, and some Chimera weapons would be an interesting liberation of enemy technology.

I didn't know if it was mentioned in an earlier video though I've noticed a glitch when being supplied by someone else from the supply pack, you don't get stims and when you pick up the stim packs on the ground, you only get 2 instead of the 4. The supply backpack still works for yourself though.

A cool stradagem they should make is a rail gun emplacement, think the AT emplacement but with a large railgun that you have to charge up and can rip holes into enemies like bile titans chargers factory striders hulks and harvesters while completely eviscerate everything lower tier, give it like 7 to 10 shots but it's slow to fire with it's charge up for balancing purposes

3:45 to be fair 150 developers working in secret, pumping out massive updates, new content and weapons, working vehicles! An entire damn faction! All on an outdated Engine from years ago. I can live with my helldivers being a bit glitchy 😂

I'm really curious to just know if they ever plan on weapon and strat upgrades like they had in HD1... I would think that would have been an integral part of the game, as it was already part of the original. Seems REALLY odd to leave that out in a sequel game.

My new suggested loadout "the flying grenadier":

For your armor set you're going to use the Light gunner or doubt killer helmet and the demolition specialist light armor. For your cape you're going to use the strength in our arms or pride of the whistle blower cape.

-crossbow
-laser dagger pistol
-grenade launcher
-thermite grenade
-jump pack
-500 kg bomb
-orbital napalm barrage

This build is mostly for terminids. The advantages of this build is you got a lot of mobility thanks to the jump pack not to mention that your crowd control is immaculate thanks to your grenade launcher and crossbow and the combination of those two crowd control weapons with your ability to get into high ground allows you to essentially bombard hordes of terminids like a living mortar sentry. The las 5 dagger pistol allows you to deal with shriekers easy. And your mobility combined with your crossbow means you're also going to be the most effective player at taking out bug holes. For Chargers you got up to five thermite grenades and for titans you got the 500 kg.
Anytime you see multiple bug breaches in a higher difficulty just chuck a napalm barrage at it and watch the fireworks from a safe distance with your jump pack.

Loadout Suggestion. Can be used across all 3 enemy factions

The One Man Army Loadout. Heavy weapons with high suppression and an answer for almost every situation.

Armour:
CE-07 Demolition Specialist (or anything with Engineering kit for the steady aim and extra nades.)

Primary: R-36 Eruptor (For decent AOE clear and outpost clearing.)
Secondary: P-4 Senator (Good stopping power in a pinch.)
Throwable: G-123 Thermite (For easy heavy management)

Stratagems:
Orbital Gatling Barrage (for suppression and easy chaff to elite clearing and short cooldown.)
Orbital Airburst Strike (again, great area suppression and chaff to elite clearing and cooldown.)
MG-206 Heavy Machine Gun (This basically becomes your primary weapon. Great with engineering kit.)
AX/AR-23 "Guard Dog" (Your handy dandy good boi who will deal with most things that manage to get close to you.)

Booster:

Armed Resupply Pods (an extra free sentry turret to help you in a pinch is always nice.)
or
What ever you need to help your team.

I have been able to deal with most games quite comfortably to impossible difficulty with this loadout. Granted not solo but it still makes you feel like a Democratic Liberation machine!

Illuminate loadout:
armor: light siege ready armor (pairs well with the crossbow and I usually prefer being quicker on my feet)
Primary: crossbow (its good at taking out groups of voteless as long as you keep your distance, destroys ships once you pop their shields, but it really shines at killing overseers super efficiently with 2 shots and one shotting watchers. there has had been times where i even took out harvesters by shooting at there joint with it! Probably the most OP primary in the entire game)
Secondary: This is completely optional use whatever you find the most useful (I like to run the senator so if i need to i can take out those pesky watchers in a pinch)
Grenade: Gas grenade (comes in clutch when shutting down choke points against massive hordes of voteless)

Stratagems
-Eagle Strafing Run / Eagle Cluster Bomb (Both are very strong picks, you get 5 uses out of both of them and you should use them mainly to take out energy shields from the ships and harvesters, but don't be afraid to throw them at large groups of enemies. the strafing run is quick but a little bit too precise at times; while the cluster bomb creates a lot more carnage making it a bit more flexible) *definitely recommend you to try the cluster bomb as i see that you already use the strafing run quite a bit!
-Napalm Barrage (It's amazing at shutting down Illuminate reinforcements especially in the early game before you activate all the sam sites and/or if your just far away from them)
-Emancipator Exosuit (This does everything from exterminating large hordes of voteless, quickly getting rid of overseers and watchers, destroying encampments, and shredding harvesters. You do want to try to be a bit conservative with your ammo try to use as little as you can when going against small groups, but dont be afraid to unload on a large horde or on a harvesters joint!)
-Guard dog (this little guy puts in so much work that you dont ever realize as it one taps voteless, shreds overseers, and shuts down watchers)

Loadout: Lonely Phantom
Armor: Any light armor with engineer kit
Throwable: Smoke grenade/Stun Grenade (your preference)
Primary: Diligence Counter-Sniper
Secondary: Redeemer or Senator
Strategem 1: Jump Pack
Strategem 2: Stalwart/MG43
Strategem 3: Orbital Precision Strike
Strategem 4: Eagle 500kg/Eagle Napalm

Suggested loadout to test for Illuminate:


Blitzer, Loyalist, Gas Grenade

Orbital Walking Barrage, Orbital Gas, Guard Dog, Commando

No specific armour but i use the White Wolf armour with Champion of the People Helmet and Defender of our Dream cape for the extra defence and looks.

Walking Barrages clears bases easily, and the orbital gas can take out any that you missed. Orbital gas works well as crowd control as well.

Only downside to this is that it is a little difficult to take down harvester shields but the loyalist can help to stagger the harvesters even if you run out of commandos.

My theory is that the voteless will turn into the Illuminate Ghoul as the final stage of transformation, if not one of the final stages.

While I was gone visiting family for the holiday, I didn't bring my console so I missed out on the rest of the Killzone shop items, as well as the festivities. All I ended up with was the gun and the helmet.

7:55 ... sounds like good idea, and i mean in general, lets relax for a second with new guns, its time to bring back OLD guns from the first game, why are they even gone ?
