I had some hideous blanket yarn from my stash, cream, multi maroon, multi gray. I made this blanket and used the cream to border between each hideous color.

It was gorgeous.

Thank you for this tutorial. I have a bunch of pink yarn with some hideous rainbow type yarn. Hopefully I will have the same, fun results.

I started this last night while my lil one was watching cartoons. I'm working on it again tonight. I started with light pink and will be changing to a variegated once I'm done writing this. I've had the yarn for a couple years and didn't know what to do with it. Plus I didn't have a hook big enough. Thanks to my lil one talking me into buying one and to you for this lovely pattern. I’ve made so many of these blankets in various colors using 3 different yarn colors as well as 1 skein of multi color Bernal blanket yarn. For babies, but also for our pugs! The dogs love having the soft blankets in their beds plus to put on our couch for them to lay on. Love, Love this pattern for baby gifts and for our pugs! Highly recommend and thank you Mikey! I also made a larger version for great large blankets too - this is just so easy and versatile!

Thank you, so much for these quick-to-make crochet patterns. I love to make things with my hands and for some 5 decades have done so, but for the past few years haven't had the time to concentrate on complicated patterns. But with your "corner-to-corner" blanket and the "from-the-middle" blanket patterns, I've made two blankets in two weeks. One for a grandson and the other for a great-grandson.

Just finished this pattern. Very easy. Used super chunky yarn, Patons melody quick & cozy. Very pretty. Going to make a hat to match blanket pattern. Don't believe that 3 hr limit. Took me three days! LOL
