Totally agree. My anxiety has also skyrocketed since Covid cause I didn't have to interact with people as much and my social life has still never recovered. I know I'm not the only one.

Yes! I’m late gen X. My high tech in high school was a PAGER. We used codes to let each other know what was up. Then there was the corded phone in the kitchen. I got that thing to reach everywhere in the downstairs. We needed extra space to store the cord when the phone wasn’t in use. I never thought I’d miss those days, but yeah, I’m there lol

Im glad i got to grow up as a child for a bit before there was internet and i think you are definitely onto something. Ive had anxiety my whole life, even as a kid and it got worse with the pressure of uni but now 8 years later its the worst its ever been. I live next door to my do go round and chat but very often ill just send a message because its internet has been great for keeping in touch with people but at the same time its made us lazy.

My parents would make me call if we ever wanted to order to pizza, and it caused me so much anxiety everytime. I wanted that pizza, but I didn't want to have to talk on the phone with some stranger. 😅😂

Yea we didn’t talk crap on the internet we walked to the persons house or waited till after school and we threw down 😂😂 we talked it to their face and we backed it up 😂. Times are so different. Kids these days have it easier in a lot of aspects but they missed out on some good times. My generation was left to our own devices until the street lights came on. We hung in groups and we wandered the town or city we grew up in. Ran from predators in vans. And played outside. I feel bad that the newer generations can’t have that. Because those times were fun as hell. Now it seems if kids are outside playing people call the cops on the parents for leaving their kids unattended. I had a young guy say to me what bad parenting their kids shouldn’t be on their block playing without parents. I’m like wtf that’s called being a kid. The parents are in the house the kids are in the cul de sac. But nope the other neighbors called the cops. 🤦‍♀️. So I feel bad they are missing out.

I agree and would like to add, We all need to stop and get back to reality! People still do the normal stuff… not everyone is judge mental sensitive and ignorant! We have to get back to peace love harmony on top of our Grandparents morals, values, lessons, virtues and the fact that family was going to teach, support, grow, etc., It was all about family and Hard Work! ❤

The main reason for most gen z/gen alpha’s anxiety is COVID depending on if you had ZOOM classes you really didn’t socialize very much (from my perspective) or it could just be a reaction to trauma aswell. But the skibidi toilet kids… there’s no saving them😣
