I love this vid. Everything Charlie’s mom said was on point. That other mom was so twisted to think it was ok for her kid to be addicted to his iPad and that he would “suffer” without it. She created a monster that kid was such a freakin brat I’m glad that she started to think differently at the end!

I was a computer kid in the 90's, but I read books and played with dolls and crafts too. If my mom wasn't busy with my brother, we played board games or we would put on her records and dance. It's all about having a balance. Now I use my phone to play games, learn how to do things, play music and check on my friends, but I still workout, craft, swim and play my instruments.

I'm totally agree with Charlie's mom. It's time to tell children to interact with other children around their age. Whether its ipads, laptop or smartphones. I hope the adults can also spend time with children rather then electric devices too.

Glorious ole' days when kids played outside, rode bikes to their friends house, had actual conversations and so many more things. I have nothing against technology but children need screen time limits.

5:27 I come from a black household, and if I said that to my mom, she would snatch the iPad out of my hand, grab me by my hand, and drag me to the car in front of everyone. And then she'll go off on me and I probably won't ever see that ipad again for like 1-3 months.

Sam's mom does have a point. Kids don't go outside anymore because many safety issues. Like kidnapping, car accidents, getting lost, etc.
