My CFS / post covid is so bad 😞 I am end of the day 4 today, if I get more energy and less chest pain and brain fog I will be happy 😊

I’m transitioning to a carnivore diet. This is very encouraging.

What you mentioned about having to deal with that fight or flight state in order to heal makes alot of sense. I've began experiencing my worst of health/gut issues since a traumatic accident to my leg.

Glad to hear you’re on the mend. My situation wasn’t nearly as severe as yours. I’ve been doing carnivore 2 months and I’m seeing improvements in my health every week. Thanks for sharing your journey, it’s encouragement for all of us suffering from poor health due to poor diet.

Your story is so encouraging to me!! Have have many health problems and can relate to what you have been through! My diagnoses are different from yours, but sounds like we have shared so many symptoms! I have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome and degenerative disc disease, as well as several mental issues, like anxiety and depression. I tried the carnivore diet for several weeks then broke that for my 70th birthday, and not got back yet. Was starting to have more energy and less pain, but struggled to feel up to cooking meat and eggs. I know it's the best way of eating for me, and you have been such an inspiration to me. I know if I can push through and eat carnivore that I would feel much better! Thanks so much for your motivation!! God bless you with your health struggles! Appreciate you!! 🤗🤗🙏

I’ve come such a long way since following a carnivore WOE and am looking into DNRS! I have EDS and dysautonomia and also went to Caring Medical for Prolotherapy and absolutely LOVED the people there! Unfortunately, my body didn’t react positively to the treatments but I am so grateful to hear that you’re seeing improvement from them! I would love any advice going into DNRS.🤗

🏆Sorry [Very]Long wordy comment, but sincerely rooting for you! 👍Enjoyed the video. Couple of things you said took me to places I nearly forgot. I have just over 40 years of age over you, but I share many of the principled playing ground that is or has been part of the basic parameters you live and have, just not the same medical issues, got my own set😉...ie, the recent lifestyle, you described the mobility had gotten narrowed to just movement in the house...HELLO! I know the second stanza to that tune!🙃you mentioned just recently past several months just going from room to room a big thing, to now having walked the length of your driveway and back about 2 blocks in length.(my song rhymes with that!) I slowly began becoming such a person over the past decade, thought it was just old age creeping in on me, but it was more than that....anyway so much so....that two years ago that was my life, just my going one room to another was very difficult, sometimes wouldn't even attempt, and only did so, when I did, because it was part of basic survival. When for instance needed some water, I used up what was next to my bed, or needed food, or a bathroom break, otherwise I was lying down in bed watching TV till time to sleep at night and only to wake up and most likely repeat this very same process, day after day (more often than I like to think) ...talk about depressing . And getting up out of bed was fraught with it's own evoking issues. I could only sit up for short periods 30 minutes to an hour in a chair was my limit for awhile all too often, standing as you mentioned in your video, was for me more than a few minutes to 15 tops would nearly do me in. I could literally break into a sweat, breathing became harder, to get air, nearly felt sometimes like I would fall over in a dead heap helplessly. And literally, wherever I was I had to find a place to get off my feet and sit...in the store it was almost embarrassing, as a couple of times an employee had to bring me a chair so I could just relax and catch my breath...what I wanted preferably was to lay down, when that option existed (at home of course) . I had nearly forgotten how difficult it had gotten there for awhile. Your video reminded me how far down the rabbit hole I had fallen in these past two years specifically. I would manage about every 7-10 days to as long as couple of weeks make my way to the store to get basic essentials to survive for a minimum 2 week period with food and essential supply of simple meal planning meals just in case health would not come back up, then at least I had wiggle room to repeat that process for another 2 week supply store run. Walking was not much of an option ether. Most days it was one room to the other and back into bed. Or the 50 feet out to my car and 100' feet walk from car into the store to ride the store's electric scooter for handicap people, (I had to drop low on my food chain to ride one of those things around to get just the essentials on my list and get back to the car where I could rest just to go home.) but I did indeed reach that point physically. I was a proud person still am sorta, but that that alone for me riding that scooter was truly a humbling experience, to be seen doing much less no choice. However, that was where I was and reached in my life. Please don't misunderstand, I haven't any issues or look down on others, not a single person who uses and needs those electric store scooters, and I will and do help them when I see they are having difficulty needing to reach something and unable. So I am all for people using them, and I am glad they are there to use. Just never envisioned myself ever riding one.
After getting home with my bounty, most times it would required two trips from the car with the groceries, very planned out. Stuff that needed to go into the refrigerator and whatever or I needed to eat on that particular day and for the next morning was in the first few sacks of grocery stuff that I took into the house. I would set them down once inside, and go to lay down to rest. I was in that sad of mobility struggle, and had that little of energy. Wasn't even where I could just physically push myself to finish, the body was just used up at point of collapsing...there was nothing left in the tank to push, it was just taxing to do much of anything even on my good days. So I heard you well Rachel in your video, that is hard, you got my best wishes for your ultimate recovery and so young, still you will do well I feel that will be so for you.
Anyway, can't be making this all about you here now lol 🙃Usually after an hour or so I could then get up and put away the groceries I brought in, and afterward for me it was bedtime ...I was just usually that exhausted. The next day ( and a couple of times it was two days) later I would retrieve the rest of the groceries not a lot maybe 4-6 bags tops...carry all in one hand sometimes but I just didn't have the energy to make two trips to the car after getting home.
I thought if I was eating all the healthy stuff I would get physically better.. maybe... and did a little, but that was how it played out for about 20 months. I was always stout and physically "strong as a bull" so-to-speak, but actually was decently fit (normal healthy fit, not a weight lifter or athletic type) most of my life.
That was then, and as I say I got slightly improved in October this past year...had a forty day run of solid getting better improvement. Then a local issue occured from a Local recycling plant that had a fire( it even smoldered for 4days after getting the flames out, it was about 1/2-3/4 mile away and worse we had strong winds that day that caused a putrid smoke to fill the neighborhoods nearly a mile downwind for nearly 2days the places smelled of burning rubber and tar, and I happen to live in the area the smoke filter tree level low and clung to the ground like a fog and it caused my COPD to just flare up badly and that ended my healthy 40 day run of solid recovery. I was back to being near bed ridden next 3-4 days after and then wasn't able to do much more than very simple stuff really did a number on my breathing for a couple of months. No more strenuous activity, which that is light duty for others at that point.
And this is the clincher I have been stumbling along trying to get back just to where I was physically during that 40 day run that actually ended October 31st. And then 8 weeks ago almost serendipitously I stumbled onto this Keto stuff, I watch a lot of YouTube stuff just a whole laundry list of things interest me. But I accidentally stumbled onto topics about health and nutrtion and one thing led to another and Keto-Carnivore stuff started coming up, low carb etc.. And one video I caught and watched was Dr. Ken Berry that is what sealed my fate 7 weeks ago today. I started just for curiosity, his 90day Keto Carnivore challenge, this is the end of day 49. My health is better today, a night and day better, than it has been for at least 6-7 years ago and improving still by the day. Longer story to tell about those 49 days all good but already wrote a book here now, so I'll spare you that. But because of him (Dr. Berry's video) and a minimum of a dozen others who post videos related to this subject matter...including yourself now have given me the best 49 days in 8 or 9 years!!!That is how much better I feel today. Lost maybe 14 pounds lowest weight for me since 2007 maybe before. Mind is sharper than it was been since 1990's, cognitive functioning is off the charts, but my body is coming back after a near physical state of atrophy from little to no activity all this time. But get this, I weed-eated my backyard 2weeks ago I had tall grass and weeds, and with my heavy duty commercial grade gas powered weed eater did it with nearly zero issues and was only sore in my shoulder muscles from being so out of shape physically, muscular strength. And it was mild soreness that last a couple of days. But here is the better part of that story not to brag or be big-headed about it..I did that that day because I wanted to and felt maybe I could and so like you long walk on the driveway and back was kinda what happened that day I gave it shot, and would have stopped immediately if I was messing health wise, up but I was having a good time! Life has gotten so much better. So I write all this knowing this Keto Carnivore stuff works ( for me) and is working for me. I understand in principal where you are kinda coming from. You put on to a couple of things that caused me to tweak what I eat and not today. Because something I was putting in my food was as well causing inflammation...Love it too. But eliminated (for now) and glad I did it stop an experience I was having I had no idea was the source. But I got it from listening to your video....just as I have from others tweaks I have made to my Keto Carnivore diet. That fine tuned better results. Love this stuff.
Thank you for posting your videos, keep getting well, and know you do make a difference and have made a difference by posting your videos. Long winded but you and others who might read this may help as you have others So again thanks for the work you do getting the videos out that you make. It does make a difference...a good difference 🏆 kudos to you.👍

Love hearing these testimonials! I've just started the carnivore diet about 7 days ago to help with some chronic issues. Although they weren't near as bad as the ones you have dealt, these issues have caused me a lot of anxiety, stress, depression and loss of quality of life, and have made the last 4 years of my life very difficult. But I know the body can heal if we give it the resources it needs! I'm super excited to start this journey and to heal and to get my life back! I so hope that you continue to heal! Keep crushing it!! 🥩🍖🥓💪

Very encouraging - thank you!! Carnivore is part of the "life more abundantly" that Jesus suffered and died to give us! For the 1st time in my 67 yrs. I'm seeing some amazing differences in a very short time. Carnivore is a gift I wish I would've unpacked sooner - but I'm gonna' make hay while the sun shines for as long as I can, now! I thought it would be harder than I'm finding it is for me. Cravings haven't been a big issue, and I only feel hungry once a day, then I eat, as much as I want of my carnivore choices. Whether I'm on it for a season or 'til the wheels fall off it doesn't matter - it is a very satisfying way to eat. We all have to listen to our own bodies when it comes to fine-tuning our individual fueling needs and this is working for me now. May need adjusting in the future but that's down the road. Thanks again for your transparency. So many of us are blessed...blessings on you in return. Hope your soul is prospering!
