Heart is INSANE. The Wilson sisters are unmatched vocally.

I count myself fortunate that I was a teen in the 80’s and got to see so many bands in concert. Gen X’er here (‘69).

The 80's are absolutely timeless, I'm fortunate to have grown up with many of these tracks. It's mind blowing that by 2030, the 80's will have been 50 years ago! 🤯

"Glory of Love" May be corny, but it still gives me chills every time. When my class performed "Back to the 80's" for the school musical, this song was one of the numbers included. The guy singing it had such an incredible voice.

After growing up in a family that lived, breathed, and bled 1980s, from my Dad's love of Glam/Hair metal, hard and classic rock, to my Mom's absolute obsession with the pop masters, I knew every single one of the songs here (and even have a good chunk of them on my phone!). I love 80s music, and so wish I had a Delorean to take me back at 88 miles an hour to the era when music actually meant TALENT and EFFORT, not Tweets and Instagram

I'm so glad Jani & Warrant finally got some acknowledgement! Jani Lane truly was a master songwriter & he's missed dearly!

I was born in the mid 60's and I got to enjoy music from the 70's and 80's. 😁

I never really cared too much for hard rock or heavy metal music. But those power ballads slay every time. LOVE THEM!!!

Heart's "Alone" will always have a special place in my heart, I was a young college student studying music theory and composition and "Alone" was the very first pop song I was able to analyze harmonically and understand it's structure and underlying appeal. I actually earned a 4.0 in my Theory 101 class because of that song.

Thank you for the update, MsMojo..!! I was an '80s kid, and I feel no other decades had better songs and the movies than the 80s. I still listen to the songs from the 80s daily. 🤣

I am extremely glad to see “Home Sweet Home” by Motley Crue on this list, and of course the Wilson Sisters never disappoint…but You all went hard in the paint with the Metal and left some excellent harmonies wanting…”Human Nature” by Michael Jackson, “Stillness in the Night” by Fishbone, “Total Eclipse of the Heart” by Bonnie Tyler, “The Longest Time” by Billy Joel, “If it Isn’t Love” By New Edition and the incomparable “Something About You” by Level 42 as just the tip of the iceberg to memorable 80’s songs with great harmonies!

I'm definitely an 80s kid, having graduated high school in 1988. The majority of the songs from that decade are still popular today. If you are talking Scorpions, my favorite song by them is Winds of Change. I don't have a problem with any of the songs in this there's not enough of them! Please make a part 2....3....20...lol

I grew up in the 80s, and listened to most of the bands that were featured, from Heart to Aerosmith and more... Warrant was my favorite band back in the day.

I’m a 70’s and 80’s heavy metal girl and British rock band fan of the 60’s —-there are so many beautiful songs with harmonies they melt my heart- still to this day. The harmonies go way deeper and darker than these OMG Love Bites just gave me goosebumps such a pure yearning song. But Peter Cetera? Um not exactly rock to me. So many amazing metal bands and rock too…can really get right into your soul with their harmonies and melt your heart. They still melt me to this day. Some of the “lightweights” not so much. Aerosmith will always be in my heart

I’m a 70s kid. I know a few of these songs & they are great. But I started my family in 82 & listened to Raffi!

I was in my 20's through most of the 80's and watched MTV most of the day. Paul Stanley back in the day was one of the sexiest men alive. Followed really close by David Lee Roth.
