Js frameworks and libraries are always with any developer job, in the back end, full stack, or even data optimization. And it's always mandatory in senior developers' job requirements.

First of all thank you for the video and advices, Senior laravel developer for me it means : senior in laravel framework + senior developer "exactly like you describe it in video".
And most of senior developer are senior in framework and junior in architecht and design pattern.

I think a truly senior level developer has the skills to be able to jump into any framework and start being productive pretty quickly. They can pick up new patterns quickly and work within a project without disturbing any other moving parts within the codebase. They can do this because of their experience and exposure to different projects and ecosystems over time.

I'm always disappointed when I see a job description say "must know bootstrap framework" - Something you can easily learn along the way and fully learn in less than a week.

I would say that soft skills are as important as technology skills, if not more important.

Personally, I disagree at some point. All these things apply only to small companies where the senior do everything to rise the project, kinda full-stack: make everything and due date is yesterday. In big tech or at least mid companies, it looks completely different: you are responsible only for your part, i.e. frontend, backend, databases, or devops, and that's where the deep expertise matters. Even a programmer with 10+ years of experience cannot be good at everything, so he needs to specialize to perform better. If you're distracted by everything, there's always a person specializing in something out of this pool better than you. There's how high-quality software arises: by a team of experts in different areas.

PHP and NodeJS are for small to medium projects but higher chance for remote job. Java, C#, Ruby are for medium to large projects but less to zero chance for remote job tho a bit higher like 20% more

Thats correct.. I Had an interview last month.. They were more focused on how i am working with database queries and how i am optimizing them.. Also they had asked me about dependency injections and laravel containers.. (Please someone explain to me if they know.. I didn't understand much of it) .... Another thing I have been asked was about data structure specifically arrays and i had to perform some operations on them

Yes I agree with that, I work with laravel just to make user management in big project.

I guess senior laravel also about laravel skill, but in implementation they are more like as senior developer who makes decision about tech, about product, about changing, timeline, and so on (just like in this video).

This is problem for HR or TA who created job ads because they don't have broader IT world perception.
