I dug a hole bigger than the tiny pot my blueberries were in. Mixed the native soil I dug out with some garden soil and stuck them in the ground, put a circle of rocks around and added some pine straw I raked up… they are loving their new home

I am FINALLY getting blueberries on a couple of assorted bushes, not sure of the exact type of bushes I cannot recall. I planted them about 4-5 years ago, last year only one bush had 3 blueberries lol, this year, I’d say perhaps 20-25 berries. I use bloodmeal. I probably didn’t use peat when i planted them. Anything else I can do? I have never seen a blueberry bush higher than 2 feet, I would love to try and grow something like that. We are very limited to what we can buy here as far as such plants. What species are you growing if i may ask? I’m in Southern Ontario Canada, and wonder if they would suitable for our climate.

By the way you do not need to be this fancy while planting yes it help but i usually just dig a hole plant fertilise and let water run on top for 5 min

you're supposed to use cement sand

Very oversimplified. Blueberries require acidic soil, which does best with specifically sphagnum peat moss and acid compost, as well as mulch. I'll be surprised if these guys last a year
