Question: I am removing these screws in order to get under my deck for repairs. What I am finding is that the screws are so bonded to the Trex material that the heads are stripping when I try to remove them on about 40% of the boards. Any idea how to extract these without having to drill them out? Thanks😊

And then 2 years later when the Trex board warps and pulls away from the heads, you're left to ponder Plan B. In my case pre-drilled chamfered holes with outdoor coated deck screws. Looks ugly, but banking on functional.

I have a few of thise screws that did not sink all the way. How csn I ge them out? They just spin and they are not stripped but impossible to get out.

Should they be pre drilled to avoid some of the problems in the comments?

Be careful with that Amazon link. Some of the screws for sale there are not the same and will split your laminate boards.
