I really like the clean look of this. Has Fastenmaster been in contact with Trex about getting this approved in their installation documents for Trex Enhance? The most recent copy I can find still states that concealed fasteners are not recommended. I understand why, given that if the fasteners end up lined up with the hollowed scallop area there is inadequate holding power. But lining up the screw on the ridges provide plenty of strength. Unfortunately my Trex salesman was adamant that the Cortex system would void my warranty if I used it. But I suspect that this design would be approved in the long run.
