I used to type with 7 fingers (5 from left hand and 2 from right, its because i play games alot) and i would usually get around 70 wpm, but i then learned to type with all 10 fingers and thr first time i did it i would usually get 20 wpm and it would be really hard to get used to, but after time and dedication ive finally mastered it and my fastest ive gotten is 177 wpm. I respect the grind tho

I think I do touch typing. But I self taught myself and now im very proud of my self.

i think its better to not look at the keyboard so then if you make a mistake you can delete that mistake quickly (i typed everything without looking at it)

I learned to type fast from programming. I noticed that I began to type fast after 3 years of programming. But I've been typing faster recently, I just don't know the exact typing speed.

I get 160, if you want to get a faster speed you should’ve done this with colemak cause once you get super fast and used to qwerty it’s harder to switch

Monkeytype is the goat, I once typed 162 for 15 seconds and thought I was the goat. When I went on typeracer, I was immediately humbled only averaging up to 80 words

I type with 3/5 fingers of each hand and I don't rest my fingers on f and j I am freehanded and type really fast (but only on pc)
