Bible left completely untouched after Hurricane Helene rips through woman's home

"You cannot touch the word of the Lord. You cannot touch it."

62-year-old Cindy Cole says a voice urged her to leave the bedroom just before Hurricane Helene tore through her small Georgia town. Minutes later, a tree crashed through the roof, destroying everything—except the Bible.

The same thing happened when I was around 11 years old. My Mom, brother and I lived in an apartment on the first floor that flooded after a storm. Everything was ruined except for my Bible. It had been submerged in water, yet dry as a bone. I still have it today over 34 years later. A true miracle.

I left a Bible in my mountain cabin over the winter, many yrs ago. When i came back, a Pack Rat had moved in and shredded every book and paper in the cabin. I had left my Bible on top of the books, but it was fully in tact, not even a nibble. The good Lord had protected it. I still have that that Bible 50 yrs later.

My aunts house caught fire back in the seventies and everything was burned but the family Bible. Prays God his word stands amidst devastation and hardships. He will never forsake his children. Amen 🙏

I lived in California during wildfire season and heard the same stories. Houses burned to the ground and the family Bible untouched. Amazing testaments to the power of God.

There was a guy who was doing all kinds of driving around & doing video footage (his company is up there helping; clearing the roads, distribution, ETC).
He drove by/video'd Two churches that were untouched, yet had devastation all around them. They were also Not in the same location.

An old friend of mine totaled her car and it went up in flames. Everything in her car was ruined. her head sets, school text books, etc. Except her Bible. It was fully in tact. Crazy.

That absolutely happened with my grandparents. In the late 60's their home burned to the ground. Everything burned including a night stand next to their bed. Among the ashes they found their family bible which was undamaged. Even the page saving ribbon inside the bible was turned to ashes. Bible was unburned. True story.

Praise God! We had an old stone church burn down in my town and the cross was barely touched. Look at picture of Pretty Place in the SC mountains. The roof got hit, structural beams but not the cross! God shows Himself and I Love it!

The tornado that devastated Lubbock TX May 11th, 1970, wiped a church completely gone except the one wall that had a large cross on it. I lived there at that time.

We had the same thing in a house fire. The Bible was in a cedar box, which was directly in the fire and not even a blister on the clear coat on the box. Amazing

Praise God, there was a earthquake here in NC few yrs back. I owned a restaurant and had bibles laying around for customers to read and everything thing in the restaurant was on the floor except the Bibles. All Glory be to GOD.

I had a Bible that survived a terrible fire, it was the only thing that came out of it with only water damage and I still have it 30 years later.
