Bible left untouched in fire that destroyed family's home

A family is left picking up the pieces of their home after an early morning Christmas fire left it in ruins.

We spoke with the family hours after the fire and learned more about what they found in the rubble that they're calling a Christmas miracle.

Diging through rubble isn't how Robert Voigt planned to spend Christmas.

“I always thought this will never happen to me. That’s a lie,” Robert said.

The husband and father is going through what's left of his family's mobile home. He assesses the damage from the fire that took his home and his diabetes and heart medications.

The damage from the fire has left the mobile home at a total loss. But there was one thing inside of the home that was left virtually untouched and it surprised even the family.

“Not one page is burnt in the Bible. Not one page. God was with us last night,” Robert said.
