I tried this method 2 motnts ago. We first met on Boo. (I was still suffering from depression at that time). Just for her i tried to stay more positive or at least neutral to myself. I will tell you this, if you self judge a lot you will likely not do much in practice, but if you do it with precautions you will actually start taking care of yourself without even realizing to full extend. It guess it's kinda worked, first 2 datings were awesome, until the third one my autism started to expose me. Pattern behavior, mood swings, can't stay on one topping for too long and since she is psychology major fooling her is impossible, so i admitted about my disorders. Surprisingly, she accepted. I dunno if it's because good first expression or she generally was tolerant, but i guess both. We are living together now, I still can't stop feeling that i am a burden to some extent even though she doesn't care. I am super touch starved, so i behave clingy whenever i got opportunity, so i can be quite annoying 😅. Anyways thank you... wish me luck 🤞❤

It’s like when you get a compliment from someone, but then you dismiss it because you’ve already concluded that it must be false because you’re not ‘good enough’ to reach that standard. If you start loving yourself, then you can appreciate how others love you too.
There’s this girl I like and I want to ask her out, I even think she could like me. Each time I see her I get this ‘hope’, but I know I’ve got responsibilities like school and friends. One thing to remember that I’ve learnt, guys, is that you might just want someone to talk to and tell everything - so do this to one of the friends you already have.
I think one of the hardest things about having a crush is that it feels like no one else can ever give you those feelings of love again, and so we need to get to know her as soon as we can so that she doesn’t leave and we never got to experience them truly. But then when we don’t it’s even more painful because we know it’s our fault. Another thing to remember though, because of this, is that there are in fact others who might - I even switched over crushes once - and both felt so strong, it felt impossible that I’d stop loving the first and move on, but I did.
But then, having a crush feels good because it outlines a sense of purpose for us. It’s a different feeling because now it’s not just about someone attractive but someone to make you feel whole. But don’t avoid what you can control for something you can’t - don’t avoid helping yourself, for hoping tirelessly that she might like you.
For context, I realised I had a crush on her, but then I went away for a month and didn’t see her for a month after that (☠️ Was hard times bro) so I’ve had a lottt of time to think
