Показать описание
The GF1 Neptune is a new Brazilian FPGA console that looks to bring back the Sega Neptune with some solid modern tech that won’t die on you like the original 32X does all the time. In this week's show we get my thoughts on the console, take a look at the console running, at the pre-production shell, and the near-final motherboard.

I’m pretty excited about this, hopefully it’s not gonna be stupidly expensive.

Agree with you, this is exciting. I'm excited about the homebrew applications for this, perhaps we can right a few of historys wrongs! Sega will never die!

Mike, your 32x is now the Ship of Theseus, or Trigger's Broom.

Beards looking healthy my man.

Me and my buddies just got done trying out the entire 32x collection released and it was a blast. I wouldn't mind having a new console to play 32x and shelf the original console. Like they say better late then never! Great video Mike👍

Never had any issues with my 32x but then again I don’t play it much because I’ve got like 5 games lol

I believe that the price for our Brazilian market this console will be expensive. I would like to buy it

High quality shell, high compatibility rate (96%+), and $150 usd would make this quite collectible.
If you cut max profit out of the front, you can make it up with more sales and good reputation

I too have a dead 32x, this could interest me for the reasons you've mentioned

Great video as usual Mike. Is it weird that I'm looking forward to watching the video of you spraying and customising the neptune, (including making a box I presume?), than I am the release of the console itself?

Wonder if it’ll be as good as Analogue’s Mega SG.

Thanks Mike! This is awesome news, it will be big in 2025. 👍

This is exciting. Honestly. But FPGA means a FPGA costs, which sucks. What makes this cool is we all remember magazines that showed us Genesis kids what it would look like. (These guys should’ve painted it black). If this device can do component out of heck, even composite out, and was a better price, I’d say maybe.
Only question I have now is, can it play Master System games (via converter or Genesis flash cart)?

I need a CRT with component rgb input. Any suggestions?

If the could get it $250 that would be a great deal

Hoping Krikzz would have made a 32X adapter that can work with the Mega Everdrive Pro.

The Sega Neptune should've been the Genesis 3
