What’s the Difference? 🍝

Many people think maccheroni and macaroni are the same, but there’s a deeper distinction.

In Italian, maccheroni refers to a family of pasta shapes, typically tubular, but this can vary depending on the region. Traditionally, maccheroni is made with a specific type of dough—often semolina and water, particularly in southern Italy—though some regions use egg and flour-based dough.

While in the US, macaroni often refers to small, curved tubes (think mac and cheese).

Hi im italian, congrats for the video! I just wanted to ask if last ones were "Strozzapreti" instead of Maccheroni, since the image reminds me of those. Greetings :D
