CAMERA POV TEST | IPhone 14Pro Street Photography!

In this video, we take the IPhone 14Pro into the Byward Market in Canada's Capital of Ottawa. It was supposed to be a sunny day, but it ended up getting super moody and rained towards the end making for some cool shots of the Rideau Canal and along Parliament Hill.

I learned photography in the film era, had my own darkroom, etc and still have some modern digital cameras. I recently went from an Iphone SE to my first Pro camera, Iphone 14 Pro Max...and I'm pretty blown away by the camera possibilities. Will it replace my actual cameras? Not entirely, but it'll definitely replace the need of carrying a camera to many places. It works extremely well for a 'daily carry' and it just happens to be my phone. My only gripe with it is when shooting in the portrait mode and go shallow to f1.4 or so, it front focuses and back focuses pretty bad on the subjects. Many times need to take a test shot to see where it's focus at and then you need to compensate by aiming left or right of the subject spot your tryin to actually get in focus. Overall, I'm super impressed with the camera on the phone.

I like the hoops you jump through just to make the phone work as a street photography camera. It seems to be more "phone" than a camera and its super expensive.

the only thing i don't like about phone street photography is the way we hold the phone. We kinda look like a creep. With my X100V, it feels more "natural"
