This documentary is wonderful, but I wish it was longer. It leaves out Yellow Journalism, the Creel Committee, the Council on Foreign Relations, The War of the Worlds broadcast, CD Jackson, the Tavistock Institute, Aldous Huxley and Laurel Canyon. To name a few. The information war started much earlier than Operation Mockingbird.

There was a tv show in the late 70s early 80s, called The Gong Show, with the host Chuck Barris. He claimed the CIA approached him to do work with them.
When he started to talk about it, they made him look crazy.
Some years later, they even produced a movie about him and still made him look crazy. Confessions of a dangerous mind, starring Sam Rockwell.
I recommend this movie.
