Should you use peppermint oil for hair regrowth? And is there any validity to the 2014 study that found that peppermint oil might be more effective than minoxidil?

Peppermint is a cross between water mint and spearmint. It grows throughout Europe and North America. Peppermint oil is extracted from the leaves and flowers of the peppermint plant. One of its key components is menthol – which is what gives peppermint that cool, refreshing taste and smell.

Some studies have linked peppermint oil and its components – like menthol – to a number of health benefits. And these benefits are the reasons why some people argue that peppermint oil can regrow hair. But can it?

In this video, we'll reveal:
- The science behind peppermint oil
- If peppermint oil can regrow hair
- The best concentration to use and if peppermint oil is safe
- How often you should use peppermint oil
- How it stacks up against other hair loss treatments (like minoxidil)

This test with mice is incorrect. These already have hair, but they are shaved. Try this experiment on bald men.

What do you think of Medavita Lotion? Is it effective? I know people who said it was helpful for them.

I'm done with essential oil and saw palmetto. The fact is they are loaded with phytoestrogen and will affect your hormone status. Not a good idea... Plus estrogen down regulate NIS (Sodium Iodine Symporter), which bring iodine into the cell. This could lead iodine deficiency over the long run.

Hi, I use minoxidil everyday, I just started it, I was using rosemary diluted on pumpkin seed oil for more than 6 months . I saw some results, I noticed that it slowed down hair loss in some extent, the thing I liked about it the most is that my hair was kinda ticker and healthier. My question is that can I add peppermint to that as well? I did not drop the essential oil because I think it might reverse the dryness affect of minoxidil. I add 5 drops of rosemary.

Bro, I just want to share my experience. The first thing I used was rosemary oil in my shampoo for 4 months, and I started seeing baby hairs—really tiny ones. I couldn’t believe it, but it was from the rosemary oil and nothing else. The shampoo was a 10€ 1-liter organic shampoo from Amazon, nothing special. I added about 50 drops of rosemary oil and used it twice a day, leaving the shampoo on my head for about 5-7 minutes each time. That’s it, and I saw crazy results. That’s when I realized my hair loss wasn’t purely a DHT problem but more about blood circulation. I guess this happened due to stress and loss. I struggled for a few years, and during that time, I lost a lot of hair. After seeing success with rosemary oil, I started taking vitamin E and pumpkin seed oil daily. Then I added minoxidil, which accelerated the hair growth. My hair is now thicker, and I’d say it has doubled in volume. I've been using minoxidil for just a few months—maybe 3 months. I don’t do microneedling or massage, but I believe it would help even more. I just miss it. I never used a derma stamp, and I’m not sure if I should add it because I’ve seen such good results from the oil, minoxidil, and shampoo. I also take 1g of saw palmetto daily; I’m not sure if it has an effect, but I take it anyway. That’s all I’ve taken, and sometimes I take collagen, but not consistently

could you do a Video (if you haven't already?) on Castor Oil ? I've heard good things....cheers :)
PS - Rob, for your info, I'm 50 and have been trying to go 'natural' for about 9 months now with a realistic approach, but also to go full kitchen sink mode (micro needling, oils, massages, nutrients etc etc...) ..I was I'd say Norwood 4 to hair I had is now previously slick bald scalp area now has dozens of tiny white hairs covering it....What does all this mean? I dont really know, but things have definitely improved (somewhat) big question is will those small hairs continue to grow over the next couple of months or see 🙂(I'm never going pharmaceutical by the way)

It is the fat layer that is getting thinner, otherwise the hair would fall out all over the body, but everywhere where the fat layer is thicker than on the head the hair does not fall out...

What are your thoughts on custom hair oils from small businesses like Afesennah? It seems that they have lots of good anecdotal reviews. She's a certified trichologist so I would assume she's more research inclined

Hey Rob. I watched one of your videos regarding finasteride and how long it take to a cosmetic difference. I've been taking 0.5mg daily for 8-9 months and I find my hairline is still slightly getting worse. Is this something normal this far into the treatment? I'm willing to give it a full year and a little bit more to see.

Hello, Rob
I use LLLT + propecia + minoxidil spray every day. I apply hair massage with my hand as per your advice.
Would it be a good idea to use an electric massager instead of doing a scalp massage manually? Some devices have different attachments that might be suitable for the scalp, but while some create circular vibrations, others move back and forth. Which type of movement would be more effective for a scalp massage?

What is the pitch man’s story. I’m not going to say anything because I don’t know his hair story. If anyone does know his hair history, please educate me, thank you very much!
