It was never on the rise, it has always existed in many shapes, sizes, and forms from the past, to now, and likely to evolve going in to the future. It's subtle, as well as in your face, which I do agree with how the show has been trying to appoint it in the past 2 seasons, and going in to the 3rd, there will be more.
