I am definitely someone who is highly emotional. My biggest takeaway is the four steps. I know them subconsciously (and not with those labels), but it is really great to hear them spelled out! And, "responders, not reactors" is really fascinating to me.

The tips were all helpful -- but "sleeping on it" is the best for me because it reminds me to slow it down and not react before thinking *how* I need to react. Calming down the emotion is important, but I like how you said retaining some of the emotion is also important. We are both emotional and rational -- those two don't have to cancel out each other!

Ugh - I'm so embarrassed to say but I am a highly emotional person. When I first became manager I walked out of a conversation with my boss! The week after an outside company came in and trained the entire management team on emotional Pretty sure it was because of me. But it was helpful for sure. Now I can feel it in my body when I'm about to explode. More aware of my breathing and situations that will normally get me annoyed/upset. Thanks for the tips on self management.

I like the responders and not reactors part. But perhaps another video on how to express those responses without taking too much on one's self would be great !

It’s really hard to enjoy listening to your videos, when you advertise 50% of it. Just my opinion.
