As a Mechatronics student, it is a mix of electrical, mechanical and computer engineering.. it's hard but worth it!

This is the perfect video for someone unsure about studying mechanical/mechatronics. Really helped me out

Being a Mechatronics Student myself, I can conclude that Mechatronics is 50% Electronics (20-25% Control and the rest is Electronic Circuits), 30% Programming, and 20% Mechanical Stuff.
Depending on how good you are with Electronics Engineering, this course can literally make or break you. I've always been weak with Electronics specifically, so I am constantly getting bombarded (if you thought circuits was hard, wait till you get into Control Theory Stuff. It's a whole other game!).

That's my experience with Mechatronics Engineering in Monash University tho. Who knows, might be different for whoever reads this comment

I might actually make a video where I talk about all the units I did so far (as I can cover nearly all of them so far) sometime soon, not sure yet.

Great video! As a mechatronics engineering graduate, my degree choice helps in roles like product management and engineering management because it allows you to relate to the different stages and people involved in a products manufacturing process. This helps because I am able to understand and cater to the needs of the engineers and designers involved, from the manufacturing and supplies expert to the machinists to the webpage developer for marketing. It also prepares you to work across industries from tech to consumer goods factories to supply chain. Solid degree choice, no regrets.

Great video!!! I am a mechanical engineering student and I gotta admit that I had some regrets for choosing mechanical over electrical or computer engineering, since I very much enjoy working with circuits, magnets and computer programs as well, and I felt pretty limited to be honest, but then I discovered mechatronics, which combines all three and I couldnt be happier!! Im definately doing a masters in mechatronics.

I plan on starting college this year, I knew I wanted to be an engineer, but I wasn't sure which type. Now I know for certain, I want to go into mechatronics, the variety is really good. Thx for this vid, bro, I wasn't aware that mechatronics was a thing.

Done Mechatronics, halfway through mechanical. Mechanical is a lot harder but I think Mechatronics has a very wide knowledge bracket but doesnt go too deep. Mechanical Obviously goes tall and gets into materials and dynamics quite deep. They are a great combo but I think mechanical is a much more established and solid degree.

bro i usually don't subscribe to any channel just by watching one video. But i subscribed your channel as it gave me a lot of clarity on mechatronics THX A LOT

From my experience as a mechatronics technician, it is a mixture of electrical, mechanical, computer engineering, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Love what I do.

Currently I am confused between architecture and mechatronics...I like tech and designing cool stuff. I have interest in designing, robotics and aerospace engineering
