If it wasn’t for the math, physics, programming and technical knowhow, I would totally study that

Micheal Reeves, Stark, and the prosthetics in Marvel’s Spider-Man (ps4) got me interested in engineering... Funny how fiction or comedy can get you intrigued

Hey, just wanna say, you may be a jack of all trades and master of none in a team. However, in a team, you are the one who connects all the dots and knowing something about everything enables you to tackle issues from a different angle, to think outside of the "specialization" box.

I chose a bachelor's in Mechatronics specifically because I don't want to hyper specialize on one specific thing. I want to have some flexibility in career paths, but also I wanted something that would serve my own hobbies and personal interests in creating things. Perfect degree for me

The most complicated thing I've built was my PC
I'll take it as a win ; )

I definitely can relate. Electronics engineering student. A.S as well. Been doing electronics and building for over 12 years. Prior mechanic. 3D printing instructor, self taught, dabbling into welding and machining. I definitely live for this

OMG this is me exactly. i got into digital art recently and decided not to pursue it due to career instabilty(and no art school being available in my area) so wound up choosing mechatronics. came here cus idk much about it and i aint gonna lie i blindly chose it because it sounded like something i want and indeed i like being a jack of all trades.

Mechatronics is something which I wanted to do since I’m very passionate about it to serve this industry and here Quantum University is actually having teachers to teach well

The full phrase is “a jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.” It was a compliment.

School is officially done for me. Next few months will mainly be job hunting and trying to enjoy life a bit (plus videos and VR of course)

Ngl u and Michel reeves are a huge inspiration to me. I’ve gotten more involved with vr and have even started on the journey to learning html and c#. I want to continue learning this stuff and everything you cover interests me. Thanks man and keep up the great work

I'm also in the planing faze for a while now, starting a math major in fall. I'm a self thought programmer for 3 years now, so I decided to study something else in college in order to broaden my knowledge. I'm more interested in writing the lower level software for the future nerve gear.

honestly i was looking for a path that some would call "general engineering" because i just had too many interests in the engineering world, and then i found mechatronics. a stupid name for such a great idea, i have yet to enter college but i am experimenting with circuits learning physics and math which i like, im the type of person who likes every part of the design process and want to be able to understand every bit of it!
