With Alzheimer's on my maternal grandmother's side, I often wonder when it will be my turn. I am nearly 50, have adhd, depression, trauma, am perimenopausal, and have a lot of stress currently. I could easily blame, word loss, mood swings, memory loss... on any or all of these things. How does one tell what's what?

hi! i wanted to know if you had any tips for me! my grandpa and grandma both have dementia and are still living at home with me and my family, what can we do when they get violent? anytime someone tries to de-escalate the situation it gets worse. ( my grandpa is no where near frail and when it gets really bad he can cause serious damage. hes gotten physical with my parents, me and my siblings, never grandma tho ) but my mom doesnt want to put them in a care facility :( is there anything we can try?
