Sea of Stars is an indie 2D RPG with turn based content that's filled with adventure and exploration. Catchy retro soundtrack, some pretty awesome side characters, brilliant pixel art and animations, and plenty of fun side content.

The music is one of the best soundtracks of all time and the graphics is literally the most beautiful top down 2d game ever made. really a special game

If this game came out in 1995 or 96 it'd be considered one of the greatest games of all time. I absolutely loved it and i miss when this is what games were like. So much more engaging than a giant open world.

I wasn't aware at all about that game before it being announced at a Nintendo direct as one of their future available games. I decided to test the demo out of curiosity, and immediately fell in love with the game.

The music is honestly some of the best I've ever heard in my almost 40 Years playing video games but the length of the game definitely left a lot to be desired I wasn't even speed running it and I finished the whole story in about 30 hours

Enjoyed this game and the story. I read the criticisms and I don't get it. I enjoyed the puzzles, the timing based combat, and the storyline is great with a potential twist at the end. There was a great amount of content. Actually teared up at one point as the true ending was worth the work to get there. The graphics from sailing the sea of stars was spectacular.

I have enjoyed this game, espicially with the DA and Level design, but i think i will forget it fast 😢 because the story is "basic", i didn't really jumped in...

Lots of good things about SoS, but the gameplay and especially the story aren't its strongest points.

Combats gets very repetitive.

Graphics and music are 10/10 tho.

Forgettable game. Puzzles are brain dead. Unless you geek out over pixel art, want to impress noone by knowing the composer, or just play every turn based rpg out. Pass.
