Hi Tatiana and thank you for your first impressions :)

For my business I need to work with 3 Monitors (or more 😁), so I would like to see working with the Quest Pro using Mouse and Keyboard with „Immersed“.
That would be really helpful for my decision to buy one.
It‘s easier to take the Quest Pro with me on a flight or in the car than 3 Monitors. Would be a game changer 🥳

This headset you could game like a Quest 2, the lens are better, clarity is better, In fact it's a Quest 2 on steroid with better lens, no one will use it for work, I can't barely see my computer screen with the front camera, at night the pass through is all grainy, we are far, far away for a real XR experience, I was expected a headset that was made for exclusively for XR but when you turn it on, you go to the quest store. There are a few XR apps/games, for 2 grands you expect a full library of XR apps. For unknown reason I wasn't able to buy apps/game in the store, the system blocks me if I tried to enter another type of payment method.

I try communicated with Meta, but like Facebook, the support is nearly nonexistent.

I will probably send it back in a week after more testing, I estimate the value of this headset from $850 to $1000, this would be perfect but not $1500.

Thanks for the stream and info. I am curious in regards to both productivity, social (Pokestars VR, with facial tracking will people see my tell?) and gaming, 3d modelling (Gravity Sketch) for 3D printing etc as well as to how virtual desktop will work on it as well as some PCVR games Skyrim VR, No Mans Sky, Half Life 1, 2, Alyx and VTOL etc) and Standalone/Applab eg (Beat Saber, Until You Fall, Thrill of the Fight, Walking Dead Saints and Sinners, Walkabout Mini Golf, Pavlov Shack and Cubism etc)

Does the Quest Pro and controllers still track well if used in a room with only IR lights on instead of normal room white lights, and does pass-through work using only IR lights for room illumination? I sometimes use my Quest 2 near a window and instead of the whole outside world watching me use it when it's dark I switch off the roomlights and use an IR light which works great for tracking and the greyscale passthrough.

What I’m curious about is the sensors on the outside. Since there is no rings on the controllers to track. Will the sensors still be able to use infrared lighting to see at night?

OK, so I got it.. im not happy with it.. ive had it about a day or so... my biggest issue, is you cannot record the passthrough.. as a streamer, I expect for 1500 bucks (and yes i understand the privacy issues) we should be able to stream the real world within our VR experience.. but all I get is black screen from Tribe to my immerse app pc experience etc.. so as much as we see passthrough ourselves, our community cannot. that was a fail for me, but hey its a neat 1500 dollar toy right?

I got 1 unit today, and the reality on mixed reality mode is so granulated and very low quality. It is not possible to read or use it comfortly for productivity. Is this also happening on yours or do you know if there is any way to improve it? otherwise, I cannot see it usable at an office or factory environment with machinery as HoloLens 2 is. And that was my intention. So disappointed if the passthrough sucks as much 😕
