I have two PCs atm. Did my very first build last december with a 7800x3d and rx7900xtx, and I'm very happy wih it's 4K performance. Then I salvaged the 5600 from my old pc and paired it with a rx6750xt, very nice for 1440p. Sharing one pc with my husband (thought I married a console gamer) became impossible and now we can take turns on who gets to play on "the beast" and who gets the AM4 baby 😂 All that to say that I'm satisfied with both pairings and it's nice that AMD has prolonged the lifespan for both platforms.

On the lowest case 1080p budget: Intel Core i5 12400F CPU and AMD RX 6600 dedicated GPU.

On the high end 1440p: Ryzen 7 7700x CPU and AMD 7900 RX dedicated GPU. The GPU can be switched out with Nvidia RTX 4070 if you need to do professional work in video editing.

I just got I7-14700K and RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and I'm now wondering which screens do I really should take, cause I don't see any reason of going 1440p, when 144Hz in screens is now a standard, and this combo can't even guarantee stable 144fps in the games, so going 1440p would be a waste of money. What do you think about it?

Just ordered a custom pc with rtx 4080s and 7800x3d, messed up with an audio card as I thought I needed an extra one for proper gaming (my last pc was from late 2000s :D), but got upgraded to x670e from b650. Had almost every console of that time frame to play through, last year finally decided to get a tuf a15 gaming laptop, now I've reached the point where I just had to level it up :)

Hi there. I would like to upgrade from my RTX 2060. What is the best graphics card I could pair with my Ryzen 5600X? I’m thinking about the RTX 4070 Super Ti and investing in a 1440p monitor to fully utilize it. In the future, I might upgrade the processor to something more powerful. I'm also considering the RX 7900 GRE/4070 Super (although it only has 12GB of memory :/).
