It would’ve been cool if they actually made the duel between Mace and Papa Palpatine faster than what we see it as. George Lucas said, that in reality, the duel went 4x faster than what we see

It’s kinda Sad how Finn and Kylos duel is higher on the list than the last duel in the Skywalker Saga which is supposed to be this epic duel of the light and dark

No it played out how its supposed to, theyre both such good duelists that they know they cant make a mistake so they had to be extremely careful, they were focussing so hard that the fight looked awkward and extremely slow so it made sense, also who else wants to se a starkiller movie except it's made by the same ones that made episode 1, 2 and 3 because disney would messit up?

You're right about the mace and palpatine fight two things I can say is first of all they couldn't really make at much better cause of the technology and stuff at the time, second it kinda seems like they're both like testing the others strength for most of the battle and saving they're energy

I disagree Mace Windu vs Palpatine was on of the best light saber duels I have seen and one of my favorites

For 10th place, I think I know why they did that. When people are really good at a fighting art, they make it seem effortless or they look like they're inexperienced. Like Karate during the Olympics, when they were sparring it looks like they were just waiting for the other one to do something but they're actually really good at point sparring. So I think that was the direction the were going with it. I agree with you though.

The fight between Mace and Palpatine is debatable because 1: They weren't fighting in a more open space. 2: Mace wasn't completley sure of what palps was capable of so he was probably was trying to assess the opponent. 3: palps probably did know what Mace was capable of and knowing what a powerful duelist Mace is palps probably was keeping his distance.

mace vs palps was one of my favorite fights as a kid but looking back it is a little clunky and i feel like they could've done so much more with it

I wish Finn became a Jedi and was force sensitive. There was so much potential. Luke could’ve taught him so much, like to not hate the first order and let that hate consume him.

qui-gon and maul’s first fight had wacky camera angles because george lucas didn’t want to fully reveal maul yet. that’s why there’s also a ton of dust in the scene.
