I know it was meant to be a joke, but now I legitimately think the enemies glowing red is Cal’s force sense giving him a warning. It would make so much sense.

My head canon is that every life that you fail and die in the game is just Cal using foresight to know every way he can lose his upcoming battles. And that is why you begin again at your last meditation spot as if it were all a dream

One thing that I thought was weird was how many times you can hit a person with the lightsabers in the duels before they actually die. I kind of understand though, most fights would only last a few seconds if they did it realistically

Using the force to read an opponent’s body language is actually a great explanation for the glowing red. This is now my new head canon

I am a big fan of fight choreography on film. The person who set up the shot, the fight choreographer, the editor, stunt team, all did a great job of making these action sequences come out as amazing as they are. Great job with your teams execution on this !

The ending is so hard to pin down and humor is hard to get right but I thought the comedy was a good touch here.

I always saw the meditation points similar to how Dr. Strange in Infinity War saw all possible outcomes, so when he dies, that was a path that Cal would not take, and starts over until he gets it right.

Whats funny is that’s basically what training/low power lightsabers would do in the old Star Wars books. They would just basically do minor burns and grazes

They should incorporate these things in the all star wars media as well given how Inquisitors can fly using their lightsabers even though it's made of light.

I was waiting for the boss to get back up after realizing how big his health bar was. The damage Cal takes is almost realistic compared to how much you have to wack the bosses with a lightsaber before they die

One thing I liked about Jedi Knight 2 was the more realistic lightsaber fights. Most people (including your own character) died in one lightsaber swipe. There were exceptions like bosses that took way more hits than they should have, but the majority of encounters felt like both fighters were on the edge of death at all times, as they should be.
