Can we take a moment to acknowledge the mental fortitude Tim had to have to endure Joker's torture and hang on to enough of himself to shoot Joker instead of Bruce? Tim's like 13. I know for certain that the average 13 year old doesn't just endure torture from a homicidal clown who refers to you as "Sunny Boy" and remain mentally stable enough to NOT be completely shattered

What really hurts about this in context is Bruce actually managed to move on from this and allowed Terry to carry on the mantle, only to instanstly regret that decision when the Joker supposedly made his return.
The way he pretty much begs Terry to leave the suit behind at that instant always stuck with me.

I always liked how in this movie Mark Hamil gave Joker a colder soft spoken growl in his voice. He still had the jokes and the silly inflections but this Joker was just more deadly serious in a way.
