My analysis as a kannadiga as to why bjp lost Karnataka
1. No prominent and visionary leader in Karnataka after Yeddiyurappa.
2. Appointment of Nalin Kumar Kateel as bjp state president.
3. Disrespecting the sentiments of karykartas and taking them for granted.
4. Reliance only on the popularity of Modi.
5. High corruption
6. Modi and Amit Shah arrived only during election and did not arrive when there was floods and during covid.
7. Almost Nil new major development and works by state government.
8. Infighting among BJP for the post of ministership resulting in 16 ministers losing elections because people understood that the ministers do not have the real concern for them but only care for power.
9. Anti incombency and strong leaders in congress.
10. Over emphasis on hindutva rather than on developmental works.
11. Success of Bharat jodo Yatra and people felt connection to Rahul Gandhi.

The problem in Karnataka, no party is good. There's no leader who's good at managing the state. All are about community/caste appeasement. The state has a superpower in the form of Bangalore, but no leader is able to use it properly.

This is also gonna happen in Maharashtra as well.. coz they stole Maharashtra's project to gujrat.. we are paying highest taxes in India and not getting anything back. They think Maharashtra is highest in GDP but only Mumbai pune nashik only have large industries and rest Maharashtra is just struggling with high taxes

this gives us a very important conclusion. The BJP does well in fiscal management and business/wage growth but poorly in education and healthcare spending. Either they have to reform themselves to improve this, or a new party has to emerge to balance this on state levels. because the opposition right now is promising the latter while being regressive on the business front, which is even more disastrous

I'm from Karnataka and I had done my education in a government school. Recently we had a reunion in our school and the condition of the school was terrible we had a conversation with our teachers and they were like, almost every parent prefers private school because of the poor facility and lack of teaching, if this continues government schools may vanish in coming years.
And I work as a medical rep I visit hospitals and I know ground reality very well how big companies are playing games to promote private hospitals over government hospital the infrastructure of hospitals are also poor and the people who choose government hospital are poor people, who can't afford them. For me, health care and education are basic things where everyone benefited equally. Hope parties focus on these issues over religious politics.

South Indian people are real people because they know that changing the governments is good for development. Because of that, governments have fear of losing the power & hence they try to do welfare of the state.
