The ppl who are questioning that why muslims don't vote for BJP??
Just listen, 9% muslims voted for BJP in 2019 Indian general elections. But representation of muslims in Parliament by BJP is 0%. The main reason is that BJP tries to present its Hindutva ideology to get 80% population's votes. That's why they don't even give tickets to its muslim leaders if they can win.
Example:- Yunus Khan a former BJP MLA wasn't given ticket in 2023 Rajasthan Assembly elections, then he fought independent and won the election

They won't ask the other minorities . It's always Hindu or Muslim. India is never going to grow with this mindset. BJP has Muslim candidates who are true seculars

She is trying hard to paint bjp against Muslims, but she will not utter a single word what other political parties are doing against Hindus... why Muslims don't vote for bjp, although bjp has done lots more than other party..but she is liberal secular journalist...😂

Why does nobody talk about the real minorities in this country, the Sikhs, Jains, Parsis, Jews, Buddhists, and even Christians. These people are the real minorities. Why is everyone focusing on a community who are just doing fine. They are not even the minorities, they are the 2nd majority. In many states in India they hold a significant role in deciding the political discourse of that state. Take for example my state west bengal. Officially it's a 30% muslim population, but now It will be somewhere around 33-34%. 30-32% of votes ( because the turnout is very high among them) fall for a single party just in order to oppose another party. 32% block vote for a party. And you want to call them minorities. It will be disrespectful for that community itself I think. They have their own political strategy in place and they are maneuvering it well, now whether it's right or wrong or whether this strategy is helping them or not to grow economically as a community that's up for debate, and that's a different discussion. But I think they are doing fine. So i don't think that the BJP, not choosing a Muslim candidate will hamper their political strategy anyway. Now if your question is do BJP need to change their discourse as a political party? The answer is yes. Will it dent the hard-core voter base of BJP ( which is like 15-20% of the votes they get) ? The answer is yes, at some places. It will take some more time to change.
