Corruption is rampant on both sides ie Congress and BJP
I'd say that BJP's polarization trick didn't work for them. Kannadigas have a strong sense of language pride and regionalism which even hindutva can't counter.
BJP didn't use Kannada pride factor, instead proceeded with hindutva. Congress and JDS on the other hand were full on Kannada pride, Development and anti corruption.
It is actually tough to say about who's going to form the govt. As far as I can say, No party will be in majority. It'll be a coalition govt

The main problem is not only education in modern times, it can also be credited to better media in South Indian states. In Tamil Nadu, there is no 'chamchagiri' of Stalin, neither do they try to defame him. It is left to the people do decide what they think if him. People here are more aware, and do not think twice before voting for someone else.

Being a keralite, I feel so happy to read the progressive comments from my brothers and sisters in Karnataka. Religious parties are worried when South Unites and hence always tries hard to divide and inject poison among us.

Hindutva will not have any progress in our lives, but humanity can bring magic to our lives.

We the people of Karnataka are peace loving and tolerant. We don't even bother about hate mongers, so hindutva, religion, caste doesn't work here. We are way more aware and progressive in our thought process compared to the others. So that makes a lot of difference

As a bengali when I'm watching karnataka elections so peaceful, calm no forgery it immediately speaks to me as we are already many years behind in civilization and barbarity.
No bloodshed, not even a single body down and it's a state level election. Women, children all have come to vote shows me a stark difference in the Hdi already.
No rounds fired not even in any part of the entire state! In state election???

In south India thats why parties get overturned every tenure, atleast they have the risk. Here they're ruling for 20, 30 years, year after year
