Mason jars! keep it fresh for years

We vacuum seal cookies and crackers in this video. We have a 9 year old son and want to have snacks on hand when some of these items are no longer around or just to expensive. We also wanted to get these things before inflation makes them out of reach. We are on the edge of hyperinflation. We have war raging between Russia and Ukraine.This will have a major impact on what we pay for at the store.

Do you use oxygen absorbers on you crackers and cookies ?

crackers and cookies that are made with flour and any kind og oil are not for long term storage. They are for short term pantry storage that will be rotated out in 1-2 yrs, maybe only one. Both ingredients rancid.
