man, I hate it when somebody works their way to get rich, and then their kids end up being jerks

My mum works at a primary school. One of the kids, a real spoilt little sh*t, came from a very rich family. Kid comes in super stroppy and my mum goes to find out what's upset him as he's disturbing the class.
Turns out he's upset his dad got him a Lamboghini not a Ferrari as a gift. Not a toy or one of those mini motorised/pedal powered ones, real supercars. Presumably he gets driven around in them as he's way too young to drive.
My mum had to have a chat with him about how alot of kids won't ever get any supercars let alone the one they want and to be grateful for what he's lucky to have, especially as a gift.
Kid remained stroppy and a pain in the ass for the rest of the day. One of the few kids my mum is happy not to see after they leave the school.

I was friends with a fairly wealthy girl as an elementary school age kid. I didn’t realize it at the time, but she was super spoiled and a bit of a brat. She went on expensive cruises and trips to Europe (We were living on the west coast of North America, family trips to Europe cost you an arm and a leg). She was whiny and sensitive, not just a little sensitive (I myself am a little sensitive mind you) I mean really sensitive, so sensitive that you couldn’t make even lighthearted jokes around her. She would use her influence to get other kids in trouble for crap they never did. She was very sheltered from the world, it was quite disturbing now that I think about it. I genuinely hope that she’ll escape her overbearing parents and learn how to survive in the real world.

Wow, people are for some reason amazed how self-reliant I am as a blind person, but can we address how so many of these adult-children are making me look like a ridiculous overachiever just for washing my own dish.

Was in grade school and rich brat sat with me and my friends. Said he was allowed to do anything he wanted and took our cupcakes. We beet him so bad he never came near us again. His mom came into the principal office and started yelling at us so in unison we yelled back. HE'S A THIEF AND SO ARE YOU!!! Repeatedly just to shut her up. We got detention but it was worth it.

$100k would change my life forever. I could pay off my outstanding debt and get a good nights sleep for the first time in years. I could even pay off my in-laws debt.

Life advice, if you know a nice rich kid, become there friend, like brother, be a brother to them for years, get accepted by the parents and pretty much become part of the family, then you can ask for things like "hey can you pay for my college" and if you did it right you should be set, with powerfull connections.

I don’t know about the end. I would say “money CAN corrupt people“ and also some youtubers simply didn’t want to be in the spotlight anymore.

My parents are friends with a couple that is a doctor and a lawyer (the doctor used to be a lawyer but switched to being a doctor). They are the nicest people and their kids are all super chill and friendly and not at all spoiled. They have a very nice Filipino lady who was their nanny but all the kids are grown up and in university now so she just lives in her own little house on their property and does house work. Nicest family. You would never know they are rich if you didn’t know them personally because they are all so down to earth.

We make a 7 digit yearly income through a business which has been passed down from my great grandparents.
I paid for my education myself through grants, scholarships and of course, student loans.
My family didn’t help.
It taught me many things.
I paid on my student loans for 10 years. I owed $100K.
My cousin chose not to go to college, so my grandparents had me take over the business upon their death. They asked my dad if he wanted to run the business, but he declined.

In the Living Trust, my cousin wasn’t given anything until he finished college.
He’s still broke, never went to college.
I have given him a job in our company, but he was always late, leave early, etc.
I had to eventually fire him.
Now he blames me that he can’t find work, yet his wife tells me that he doesn’t even look for work

Rich guy in my college years had the brilliant idea of writing down his murder fantasies about his father in his notebook. Not very discreet about it, since he often talked about inheriting enough money to buy a town when his father died.

One time, he forgot it. I grabbed it. Brought it to the dad and said "Erm... sir, I don't want to alarm you, and I didn't mean to look, but there is some pretty disturbing shit in this you should probably check."

A month later, rich guy went from rich boi to burger king employee, because his father got understandably worried that his son was planning a patricide.

Also took his mother with him. Apparently, this was a common ground they shared.

Let's say that judges don't give a lot of alimony to people conspiring to commit murder. There was no further charges, as they had no real proof that either of them had the means or the actual desire to commit murder, but the possibility was worrisome enough, especially on the wife's side.

There was this guy who was born into a millionaire family. He went to the best schools (that his father bought his way into) and he used golden toilets. Then this guy somehow convinced millions of middle-class working people that he was just like them and that he cared about them. Some of them actually believed him! Then he ran for president and the only thing he really accomplished was giving tax breaks to himself and his rich friends.

I really like these videos, especially because they aren't dubbed by a text to speech robot. But I usually skip the sadder and more serious/negative videos and only watch the funny ones

If so many rich people were not inconsiderate and disrespectful like those explained in the video, I doubt people would be against the rich.

17:10 Oh my god, this is horrible in Dubai. While everyone was crying a river about Qatar's slave labor, guess who built the Burj Khalifa, Emirates Towers, Museum of the Future, Marina 101, and the list goes on. Sharjah and al Karama are pretty much labor camps, with the expats living in Jumeirah. The UAE is still one of the most segregated countries in the world.

Some rich kids are jerks, but not 🚫 all rich kids. It's up to the parents teach their children good manners.
