group of a few of my friends and I were standing by the side door of a restaurant..Some entitles Karen pulled up in suv...got out and wanted to go in the side door of restaurant...Yelled get out of my way we stood there not moving she yelled and screamed some more to move..I said you can't go in there ..She screamed I'll go anywhere I want to go...said move or I'll call the police and have you arrested...we move she grabbed door handle LOCKED....she kept pulling thinking it was just stuck..we all giggled ..oh was she pissed screaming >>>see I told you, you can't go in there...screaming she got in the suv..slams her door just then the side door opened and we went in quickly as she got out of suv we closed door behind us before she grabbed the handle again...she was screaming let me in let me in...we just yelled ...who is it?? wonder how long it took her to go away???

My dad is a combat medic, and at a festival, a woman collapsed something really bad happened, and my dad was tending to her while waiting for an ambulance to come around. I don't remember if it was a security guard or someone, who wanted her gone as "it was causing a scene" I came up right when he said this and my dad said no, she's stable, the paramedics will be here soon. But the guy wasn't having it. He grabbed the lady, and thats when my dad grabbed the guy by his collar, slammed the dude down, screaming, "You need to back off before I make them cary away two people on stretchers" he let go of the guy who made "Im calling the police threats" ambulance came, an officer was with who asked some people what happened, cop agreed my dad was in the right as they didn't know the exact issue with the lady.

My dad also went toe to toe with a Colonel on putting soldiers in a concrete bunker with out AC in Baghdad, and stode his ground, causing a big headache for command all so his men didnt have heatstroke in a bunker. This bunker was also used for a checkpoint to the airport so it closed that checkpoint, hence the big headache. And he got a coin from I think the General of the deployment they were on while also getting chewed out.

I don't believe any doctor would be mad at an ambulance blocking an exit. They would rather see if they need help. That woman probably thought if she tells the paramedics that she is a doctor that they will magically do what she wants as she is "higher in the food chain". Just good that those paramedics remembered a simple rule: "Until i give this patient to someone else or get the order to do so from dispatch this live is in my hand and there is nobody who outranks me"

Some people have no compassion or empathy until the horrific events affect them!

A paramedic in charge of a patient outranks a doctor who isn't even one of their providers...just like an ordinance technician at a dead run outranks even a general, especially one who doesn't know what's going on.

Similar situation.
Guy honking his horn, demanding the ambulance was moved.
EMT got on their radio, 2 minutes later 2 police cruisers arrived and dragged the guy out his car.

Some places take "interfering with an emergency worker" extremely seriously...

Remember kids, breaking someone's car mirrors isn't a felony but most likely just the cost of repairs (and possibly legal fees) but 1000% worth it in some cases.

I worked in catering for a while so I dealt with a lot of shitty people. One woman asked for a second plate of food, but I told her we don't do more than one plate of food per person, we designed it that way because we only buy as much food for the snount of people that are gonna be there, and that's to save money. She kept asking for a second plate because she was the mother of the bride, who organized the event, I looked her dead in the eyes and said "Ma'am, it is 9:30, I get off of work in 30 minutes, I have been working since 7 this morning. You cannot have a second plate, the manager will tell you the same thing. Go away." She complained to my boss, my boss laughed at her.

Honestly? If this were me in that case, she wouldn't make it back to her car, they'd have to call another ambulance for her and her passenger. These hands are rated E for Everyone.

Worked for Roger's internet support. An amber alert went out for a kidnapped child. The alert went to everyone's phones and tv. We got so many calls from people complaining about "how dare you interrupt my tv show!!!" That it broke the call routing and calls started going to random departments

The worst part is if they had just read the alert they would see that it came with instructions on how to clear it, just press ok on the remote
