Because it is very improbable that humanity develops with evolution, it makes more sense that god created everything. But not only that there are signs thay god gave to show us his existence and he will send signs to show people he exists too.

Loved this episode!! Crazy how people can go from demanding empirical proof for God to now wanting to rely on hypothetical scenarios to disprove existence of God 🤔

To be honest here. The dude kinda sounds like he either never took a stats class or didn’t pay attention to it. Great work on the channel though!

Actually this is very complicated for both the believers and nonbelievers. Life is very rare, and intelligent life even more so. I would encourage everyone to read about the Fermi paradox, it’s a really mind blowing.

So, if something is common, then it's mundanity pulls it out of the realm of religion and into the domain of science, but if something is exceptionally rare or even unique, it's also not miraculous. So... What would pass as a miracle?

If a God exists, it certainly isn’t any of the ones we’ve imagined up so far. If the dice have been rolled an infinite number of times to get us to exist in this moment, it makes sense that humans, unable to truly comprehend infinity, would interpret that the work of divinity.

Religious people should be more empirical and secular people should be more philosophical. Both are equally as important. You need to be philosophical about the big questions as the situation we happen to find ourselves in is preposterous. We collectively can't remember where we came from.

If our universe isn't the only one, then it won't be considered the universe; instead, all of them together will be seen as the universe. Then our version would be just another galaxy. So multiverse theory doesn't even challenge the idea of the higher power (God) it just adds another layer of finite creation that has a beginning. And something that doesn't have a beginning and is infinitely powerful with intelligence must existtoo begin all of this.

You see, this is the problem with believers. The big bang is only the 'beginning' of our current observable universe. The Big bang describes that the universe existed in a single point called a singularity that was extremely hot. This wasn't nothing.

BUT! That is where our knowledge ends. We don't know what happened prior to this expansion of a hot dense state.

Perhaps we will never know and that is ok but this gives us something to work towards.

Believers will engage with empirical evidence until they can't explain something ... Like; what the universe was before the big bang.

So when other ideas are brought forward like an infinite universe or perhaps a multiverse believers will point out that we don't have empirical evidence to show that these ideas are possible but then it's okay for them to move out of empirical evidence and propose something like a god.

The juggling act is mind-boggling.

dude should just use our universe. We're surrounded by quintillions of km without life. Those conditions aren't suitable for life. We're the lucky ones that happened to be in a situation suitable for life.

If a big bang in fact happened so what doesn’t explain how everything correlates with everything

for GOD u MUST HAVE 100% EVIDENCE.. for evolition .. u need -100% evidence...

First it should be made clear that Atheists just have a position on God or gods. Just because someone is an Atheist doesn´t mean they know Science or Philosophy. When I figured out that I don´t believe in God it wasn´t because I was knowledgable in Science then but because of the source material of said God, Science and Philosophy simply strengthend my position later.

Now, the possibility of life forming is based on the right conditions, once the conditions are right the chemical processes necessary for the building blocks of life just happen, that is how chemistry works. This has been demonstrated by the Miller-Urey Experiment and follow up Experiments. We know that Earth had/has the right conditions. Tons of Water, tons of heat from volcanoes, tons of minerals, molecules from meteorites, etc. and millions of years. So, we are not talking about a single process happening, we are talking about billions at the same time. It is suddenly not unlikely for life to form naturally but almost certain. Again, the right conditions are everything in chemistry.
We have trillions upon trillions of planets in the Universe so one planet is bound to have the right conditions. The Goldilocks area for Planets like ours is not even that small. We found other Exoplanets already and we haven´t even scratched the surface.

If you tell the Atheist to be scientific you should at least know what you are talking about and not just claim that the leading Scientists think that life is improbable which is simply not true. You are selectively picking out information that supports your view. The majority of the leading Scientists in Origin of Life Research will give a similar explanation to mine.

I hope you learned something, good luck.

It’s about time that atheists are held to their own standards 🙌🏾 MashAllah!

13.8 billion years is a massive amount of time for planets and star systems to form. Life to spring up anywhere in the universe where conditions are right.

We're on a tiny rock in the middle of nowhere, super far from anything near us. We cannot view beyond what we can see. To pretend like god made us because we can't prove he didn't is dumb as shit.

Meh, since the “follow the science” Covid pitch, a lot of people have realized how bought “science” can be….as unfortunate as that is!

The guy is talking mumbo jumbo and unable to make his point, you can’t runaway from facts and I implore atheists to ponder and examine the existence of God

That's the funniest thing I've seen all week - a theist demanding to stay in reality.😅
Even if the big bang is wrong it gets you no closer to your version of god ever existed.

Ok so which God creates everything? Saying that God created everything doesn't prove anything outside of what someone believes in. I'd rather believe in the fact that humanity worked through extremely tough times and came out the victor.
