A once colossal empire is drowning in the seas of colossal failure.
As the UK falls apart over the economy, politics, housing, and inflation, its ruling influence has transformed into irrelevance. Can the UK withstand the pressures it faces, or will it fade into oblivion?

In today's video we look at It's Over! The UK is Collapsing (and nobody cares)

Amidst unfolding events, the Financial Times recently spotlighted the fragility of the UK economy, reminiscent of the 2008 financial crisis. With growing murmurs of "is the UK economy collapsing?" and inquiries like "why is the UK economy in crisis?", various elements come to the forefront. The cost of living crisis, exacerbated by the UK inflation crisis and the prevalent energy crisis in Europe, is palpable, especially in financial hubs like London. A financial documentary pondered, "why is inflation rising in Britain?" and delved deep into the intricacies of a "currency crisis explained", with experts such as Mario Innecco elucidating on the topic. As concerns mount, like "is the UK in a recession?", parallels can be drawn with the China economic crisis. Predictions are rife that "the UK economy is about to collapse", making the strains evident in the NHS in crisis and the ongoing housing crisis even more alarming. The deepening cost of living crisis has led to an increased reliance on food banks as the recession tightens its grip. Underpinning these challenges are factors such as political instability, social unrest, international isolation, and even echoes of the decline of the British Empire. Contemporary issues like the Brexit fallout and discussions around Scotland independence are reshaping the landscape of both UK economy and UK politics, testing the resilience of the global financial system and painting a multifaceted picture of Britain's challenges.

The problem with Britain is that they stopped manufacturing and concentrated on financial industries and it never recovered since 2008 financial crash, which hit it really hard

UK became real HELL on EARTH for its citizen last 10 years, like it is not even same country it once used to be. The speed of that change is unbelievable...

The problem with Britain is we are all to blame. We are meek and submissive. The Tories can do whatever they want because as a society we will do nothing. We may tut, we may have a few protests and strikes, and then go back to sleep with no meaningful change. As a society we have got what we deserve.

Two Brexit benefits :-
1) Super-rich people will have more opportunity to avoid taxes.
2) Regulations on health and safety, which hitherto fettered industry can be quietly abolished.
The Empire is crumbling, and it's the rich that do the looting.

When I was in UK. I saw empty boarded up streets under a constant grey sky, litter everywhere.
Homeless people sleeping in doorways. Women with cat whiskers makeup casually walking into Tesco with their pajamas. Opioid addicts out of their mind and women so drunk they urinated on the streets. It's a sad declined country.

The only one reason people voted for Brexit was never implemented. British people voted for Brexit to save themselves from the migrant crisis, but end up taking boat loads of them anyway.

I live in the UK and it really does feel like the end times, cruelty and apathetic people have become the norm. I want to live in a fair society and sometimes, I just cry... because I see homeless people getting told "its a lifestyle choice" rather then helping out the people of our country. It has nothing to do with immigrants, its got everything to do that our decline is one of bad leadership, evil ideals, selfish business people and landlords and a pathetic electorate that do not do anything when our schools are crumbling because they are cheap or other things. People just WALK PAST homeless people and think "Not my problem... I've got my family" and NOTHING changes.

Politicians are turning a blind eye to refer you to legal teams who just ignore the complaint.

Cameron, the kind of moron who starts to repaint the bathroom when the roof is collapsing.
Sunak, the guy who had to choose between a Vulcan name and a Vulcan logic and took the wrong decision.

The UK has been and is in relative decline against other countries since the end of WW2.
1) A major issue for the UK is the short term perspective (especially of the Tories) with an absence of strategic plans for industry, finance & infrastructure.
2) The Tories had no plans for what a post Brexit UK would look like. The nebulous statements of 'new found freedoms/opportunities' amply demonstrate the criminal void here.
3) That there was/has not been, any comprehensive strategy nor objective goals post Brexit is bad enough. But....the problem of long term decline has not been addressed.
4) Brexit supporters discuss almost irrelevant minute detail but do not in anyway define the real issues for the country and this is to address the long term decline.
5) I have not seen any explanation of why Britain is apparently 'so special'. How is it that Germany & France (for example) have managed to grow while in the EU?
6) How is it that the UK has no indigenous steel making capacity, why is the French aerospace industry so much more capable than the UK, why did the Tories request the Chinese to build future nuclear power stations, why does the UK have no indigenous car industry (tiny Sweden has Volvo; Germany BMW, Merc, Porsche, Audi, France Renault & Peugot; Italy Fiat, Farrari+) why can the UK not build a high speed rail link - meantime the French just competed a fast rail between Paris and Bordeaux, why is the City of London loosing trillions p.a. in Euro clearing which is migrating to EU centres - I could go on as it's an extremely long list.

Tory policy has factually failed the future generations of the country as well as messed up the existing population. Just look at the madness of Liz Truss - she just had a go in a short period of what most Tories actually
We need a vision for the future and some detailed strategies that span more than one term of government.
Oh, and defined outcomes of these strategies, reported independently and published at defined intervals.
The people would then have a more rational basis on which to make decisions rather than the obfuscation, lies and miss direction that currently reigns.

Sunak lost a leadership vote to Truss. The only reason he's PM now is because his was the only name left in the hat. Tory majority of 80+ at the time and no-one even poked their head out of the window of the Gravy Train to provide an alternative.

I now live in Spain. The Alicante tram system is run and owned by the State. I travel into town every day for 40 Cents return. The trams are clean, reliable, and the Spanish people are tolerant and kind. If this is Socialism, I really like it.

The problem with the UK is that all the smart people left the country in the 1980s because they could see what was coming.

David Cameron did not have to tackle the aftermath of the financial crisis. He pretended he had to, in order to increase government borrowing (national debt) but decrease spending on public services, so that the Tories can funnel money to the pockets of the already rich. By 2010 the bailout was done (under Labour) and the economy was back into growth. Arguably, it was a moment to borrow and invest in infrastructure, house building, energy transformation (extra electric grid, extra nuclear power building, etc.). Instead, as usual, the Tories sensed the opportunity to steal money and the Lib Dems went on with it.

The problem with Britain is the leaders seem to spend all their time trying to better themselves like common criminals rather than improve the country. And this will continue as we turn into a Third World country with Third World country leaders. And actually the down turn started with Gordon Brown defunding the education to fund global education his opening statement i want to educate the world

I got a question for the britain citizens. All these bad choices and bad quality life that you need to deal and live with today, do they also apply to the politicians that are responsible for the situation or do they keep living their lives in the all the comfort that the public money can pay? Because here, in Brazil, they screw us over and over (left or right, it doesn't matter) but they keep living like kings with the money of our taxes

I am a South African (Afrikaner) the people the British empire destroyed between 1899 and 1901 by burning their farm houses, killing their livestock and putting their woman and children into concentration camps (where somewhere between 25-35000 died, including another 25000 African people who were the farm hands of the Afrikaner Boer peoples) To say that i care about the demise of the British empire would be a gross inacuracy! 🤣

Some economists are saying the UK is paying around 2 billion pounds a week in interest charges only just to service our national debt which now stands at 2.5 trillion pounds .
This is unsustainable and our biggest threat right now and our MSM never mentions a word about this .
