British police are putting more officers on the streets amid warnings of more violent disorder this weekend and mosques have tightened security after anti-immigration protesters torched cars following the murder of three young girls in Southport. Riots have erupted across the UK after false information spread rapidly online that the suspect in the killings was a radical Muslim migrant. Police have said the suspect, 17-year-old Axel Rudakubana, was born in Cardiff, Wales, but that hasn't quelled the protests. Prime Minister Keir Starmer, facing his first big test since being elected a month ago, has condemned the “far-right” for the violence, met police chiefs and backed forces to take strong action. The last time major widespread violence erupted in Britain was in 2011 when thousands took to the streets for six nights after police shot dead a Black man in London.

Two groups of Irish protesting each other on the news- one side, the middle and upper classes calling the lower class “racists” for
protesting illegal immigration. The host explained that immigrants have been moved into lower class areas over the years, and that they have been invisible to the upper classes as far as encroachments of crime, culture, jobs, etc.. It reminded me of how U.S. Blacks supported illegal immigration until they moved into Detroit, Chicago, etc., and impacted their lives. Acceptance turned rage.
